You can pitch a tent as big as you'd like for her. I'm getting a laugh out of watching the right kick, scream and cry over a bartender from upstate New York who's going to be a footnote in ten years after political forces swing us back to the center.
I could give two [BLEEP] about her specifically. Whether or not she arouses me is a weird topic. But to just keep with the "bartender from New York" theme when she is actually an elected official is disrespectful and dismissive to what she has accomplished even if she comes off quite frankly, dumb. The issue is the ideology that she brings along with the others that have latched onto this same ideology. It just isn't her and her district that are being influenced by the millennials wanting to MVGA. She also has the backing of a large media cult. But I agree, unless the group and popularity continue to grow, she'll be gone after one term.

The wheels already seem to be in motion on getting her out...

It's humorous how much fear she engenders. What is it about right-wingers that makes them cower in fear regarding women? AOC has all the righties drooling in a corner. Stroud is already whimpering about K. Harris. And Hillary gave everone a stroke.

I guess you're a big fan of Rep. Steve King, right? I guess he's the face of the Republican Party, right? This stupid, little racist Trumpette represents all Republicans, right? Why did it take so long for him to be addressed?

See how silly your argument is? But go ahead - live in fake fear. AOC thanks you for helping make her famous. And it was so easy.

AOC is on the House Financial Services Committee.

So?
Not only that, her entire platform is being adopted by the current Democrat front runner (albeit early) and most of the candidates suspected to enter the field.

It's normal for early candidates in a Presidential primary to swing hard one way or the other to draw as much attention as they can right out of the gate. What's not normal is the recent campaigns from Obama, Clinton and Trump in which the candidate stayed off in that direction rather than returning to the center after the primary.

I think the candidates adopting her platform are going to find out fairly quickly that the words "70% tax rate" out of the mouth of a candidate for President are right up there with lip reading and tank riding on the list of things you shouldn't do.

Not to mention pissing off the group of people who are most likely to fund your campaign.

Don't count on it. With the right-wingers and Fox making her a star, and assuming she's in a safe district, she's probably looking at a thirty-year career.

She can be the flip side of Steve King. Which gives you someone to fake-fear for years and years.

So another one that doesn't understand how government works. Do you ever post on topic without vitriolic and redirecting emotion? Is paying attention to the negative direction of a party "cowering" in your world? In the same breath, you complain that it took too long to address Rep. King but it is "drooling in the corner" to recognize the early issues with AOC and a few others? Hypocrite got it.

I don't see where anyone is "living in fear."  Certainly not me. I'm sitting over here laughing at you and AOC. You have a common disconnect for sure. It's okay though. It would just be nice to actually have you respond with something less emotional and more cerebral. Maybe refreshing to get a true idea of what Adam is all about instead of picturing someone's unmedicated drunk uncle.

Cerebral? lol .. you ranting about AOC is cerebral? She has done absolutely nothing except get a lot of media play (for which she thanks Fox and the right-wing) and you're pretending the world is coming to an end. That's cerebral?

Is someone going to make you vote for a candidate who has yet to be determined? On a platform that has yet to be determined? And you're telling me you know how government works? Seems to me you are the one getting all emotional. Calm down - no one is trying to make you join a cult.

Once you've supported Donald Trump you've forfeited all claims to any moral authority.

And I'm sorry - if Donald does stupid things and says stupid things and tweets stupid things and surrounds himself with stupid people it's going to be reported. Perhaps you prefer the North Korea school of journalism.
Curious to hear what direction your moral needle points if you are dismissive of Clinton but Trump is the devil.

Also, a bit comical that morality has rushed its way into government when government is wholly an amoral grouping. You've alluded to it yourself that an individual should not be held responsible for the group he/she belongs. Hmm. So AOC and her socialists beliefs...yea or nay?

Show me where I was dismissive of Clinton. I pointed out that he got elected. You got a problem with that?

AOC yea or nay? What does that mean? Is she up for election in my district? I've made it clear that I'm a registered Republican who thinks America deserves a lot better that having a sleazy condo salesman who doesn't know what he's doing as President of the United States.
A lot of inconsistencies in her story atm.

For one she's scrubbed a lot of her past but you can still find multiple instances of her being a big fan of guys like Mike Bloomberg.

Also, she claims to have organised and taught thousands of young people but there is no evidence in her history of doing that

Her apparent IQ leads me to believe that she probably has given some lap dances.
She has a great set of jugs I tell ya. Nice shaped butt also.

All we can say for sure is that they're big.
I imagine I'm not the only one who was surprised at how these things looked when clothing was no longer holding them together.

While she comes off completely ignorant, don't we have to take her serious? Why can't she be viewed as a Dem figurehead? After all, she is a Congresswoman getting paid to legislate and represent her district. She is also a Hispanic woman. Fair or not, this panders to the woman's rights, equality and diversity crowd. She is also assigned to Committee on Financial Services and the Oversight Committee. Two of the more influential in the House. The naive little girl routine will wear off and like it or not, she is a socialist representing the democratic party. If the party didn't support her rhetoric, she would have been reeled in long ago.

Allow me take a moment to point out that I find the whole discussion hilarious.  AOC personifies the old saying "Different side of the same coin" in comparison to DJT.   The similarities of both the politician and reaction by the opposition is uncanny.  But ya'll carry on.
