That is one ugly ball by Lee there. I guess it doesn't matter if it gets to the intended target though.

I still don't understand what this team saw in Lee, when he was drafted. He was miserable in the Senior Bowl. If he beats out Kessler, I'm gonna be really nervous all season.

Not surprising. I'd be shocked if K.C. McDermott made it passed the first round of cuts.
DiRocco's blog on tonight's practice:
Quote:Thoughts and standouts from Jaguars training camp practice No. 3:

WR Marqise Lee left Saturday's practice after suffering an injury to his left arm/shoulder area during a play in 11-on-11. CB Tyler Patmon knocked the ball out of Lee's hands and Lee fell to the ground awkwardly. He walked off the field with a trainer and did not return. ...
WR Donte Moncrief, who suffered a minor right ankle injury on Friday, participated in Saturday's practice. ... Saturday was the first practice is full pads. It was relatively uneventful, though there were a few highlights in the one-on-one OL-DL battles.
Rookie Taven Bryan dominated K.C. McDermott and Yannick Ngakoue threw Jermey Parnell to the ground in two of the most interesting battles. ... RB Tim Cook had trouble in pass blocking during 11-on-11. LB DL Darius Jackson knocked him on his rear end. ... Cook did have a nice run in 9-on-7 in which he got the edge for a big gain thanks partly to nice blocks by TEs Ben Koyack and James O'Shaughnessy. ...
QB Blake Bortles hooked up WR Shane Wynn for a long TD pass. Wynn got several steps behind S Tashaun Gipson and was able to score easily even though he had to slow down for the pass.
The scouting report for Taven Bryan stated he was quick off the snap. That appears very accurate.

That is good news, but I take it with a grain of salt, since he was mostly working against guys who will not make the roster. It's nice to see him dominating them though.

Now THAT looked like a complete stalemate.
OK  --  this is actually from the panthers camp, but it's relevant, LOL

In these one on ones, the sheer strength of rookies Richardson and Bryan and back-up Poehls is very apparent.

(from the video - I'm not attending today)

Sefarian-Jenkins and Gipson are slated to give pressers today post practice around 1pm.
