It is his constitutional obligation to ensure that the laws of this country are Faithfully executed. And under the conditions of certain treaties it is his obligation to expose corruption in this country would certain allies. As such requesting investigation of anyone if proven successful could have a direct indirect or tertiary political benefit for the president. The question as to whether or not it represents a corrupt intent is the presence or lack thereof of probable cause to justify the investigation.

Exactly.
A president's objectives as he enters a negotiation with another country must arise out of and agree with the national interest.  From all accounts, our trade negotiations with Canada and Mexico had good objectives and results.
And having more accountable prosecutors in Ukraine is also justifiable as a national interest.
But having Ukraine go after one specific US citizen is a personal interest.
When the President of one country talks with the President of another, and they're not already personal friends, they both have to be scrupulous to only bring up matters of their own national interest.

Wrong again.

1.) In bidens case you do have the exchange of something of value, namely 3 plus million dollars in his sons bank account.  So when he asks that a prosecutor investigating his sons employer be fired and then his sons legal team appologizes for the false smear campaign u have clear evidence if a bribe.  Bidens actions were clearly and demostrably influenced by his son receiving an illicit benefit.  Thats the texbook definition of bribery, emolument, corruption etc.

2.) In trumps case a.) He didnt ask for one citizen to be investigated he asked in general about corruption, the dnc server-crowd strike, in addition to biden b.) Even if it was obly 1 citizen, in this case biden, hes perfectly within his DUTY as president of the united states if there is reasonable suspicion of corrupt activity-and or crimes.  You have yet to even attempt to make an argument that the fact pattern fales beliw reasonable suspicion.  By your own words it is more likely than not Hunter Biden and Joe Biden were aware that the appointment was made with corrupt intent rendering every cent he collected a BRIBE and about 10 felonies.  Your only retort is to bury your head in the sand and pretend briberies not a crime, rooting out corruption isnt in the national interest, the emoluments clause doesnt exist.  Etc.
How do you guys feel about the release of the texts this morning?

I'm too lazy to read them. Is the house going to call a vote on impeachment or no?
Paul Sperry is reporting that the "Whistleblower" was previously assigned to Ukraine to dig up dirt on Trump during the 2016 campaign. Just more proof of how desperate Mikesez and his crew are at this late stage of the game. It's gonna be a long 5 years for them.

Maybe you should read them.

But they will continue to prosper, so they have that going for them, which is nice.

Yes, he didnt immediately put the DoJ onto the Clinton/Obama Crime Syndicate as soon as he was inaugurated. He should've done so immediately.
For the last week or longer, the colluding media has thrown out the term "impeachment inquiry" to describe what the radicals on the left are doing in the House.

I wonder how many of our friends on the left who swallow such news whole without question realize there is no official impeachment inquiry actually taking place?

Nancy thinks it will fend off the wolves. It won't.

Oh well if Paul Sperry said...

Sooooooooooooooo much this!
I imagine some are starting to doubt the false foundations of their poorly structured worldview. Wise folks would learn and grow from that experience, rather than continue to double down and deny the truth that stares them in the face.

I have tried my very best to stay out of this discussion, while reading it with interest. And here is my .02. I agree with what you just said 1000%. I agree with you ten times over.

Yet I am diametrically opposed to your position on this issue.
Go figure. If you get the chance check out my signature.

Regards.

Are these the cherry picked few that came from the 10 hour Volker meeting? House going to release full transcript? You know, for the sake of transparency. The American public deserves to know! FYI, the ones available look like your typical foreign policy conversations.

C'mon man, Trump was elected to the Presidency; that's a crime to some people. Any thing he subsequently does as President is either a crime, evil, illegitimate, or all of the above.

That's not how I feel about it at all.
I doubted the man's character from the beginning, and I did not vote for him in the primary (Rubio) or in the general (write in).
But I saw that his win was an opportunity to cast off some of the old bad stuff of the Republican Party and remake it better than before.
you have to agree that Trump has been given massive power within the party to remake its ideology however he sees fit.
But Trump refuses to value any currency besides loyalty to himself, so he has only used this power to squash Republicans that say anything remotely disloyal about him. And he has no vision for how to actually improve American government so that some of the rhetoric that Republicans have been using for decades actually comes true. So that the average voter will stop looking to the next president to be their savior from whatever political problem they see. He has been nothing more than the mirror image of Obama's last six years on the policy side. Everything that he's done can be undone by the next president.
You poor, pathetic dupes.
