I'm saying that the writing appears to be on the wall for Giuliani to take the fall for either (or both) of the following:
Campaign finance fraud
Foreign election interference
I base that on what I've seen/heard from Sondland, Taylor, Trump, Mulvaney, SDNY arrests of 4 of his associates, Bolton, Hill, whistleblower(s), Perry, etc. Everyone's trying to CYA, it seems, and I'm deducing that Rudy will be the one holding the bag when the dust settles.
*Edit: forgot Perry - who's submitting his resignation, apparently.
Speak more about the campaign finance

I believe it's more likely that he'll get busted for soliciting/pressuring foreign interference in US elections, given what's going on/leaking/being said right out in the open. However, 4 campaign finance arrests (one voluntarily turning himself in - which potentially means that dude will spill some beans) and a $500k payout paired with SDNY criminal investigation wouldn't make me feel great about my chances, were I Rudloph.

As far as campaign finance, the money is going in the wrong direction. The first two had to do with contributions made by his client to a super pac. Which incidentally is generally handled as a civil matter.
As far as soliciting interference, did he ask anyone to criminally penetrate software? Did he ask anyone to intimidate voters? No. That's criminal election "interference" Investigating or doing opposition research isn't a crime. This is the problem with the left and this whole nebulous affair. Pronouncing people guilty in the public square of acts that are not criminal in nature is a gross abuse of power.
A lot of people have compared with the Democrats are trying to do with this inquiry to the function of a grand jury. The natural trade-off under our system of justice to have an ex parte proceeding like a grand jury is the promise of confidentiality. The idea that a prosecuting attorney with use of a grand jury would be free to selectively leaked portion to testimony while concealing others to promote and Poison the Well of public opinion is asinine on his face. The idea that we are citing random leagues an innuendo to decide the fate of a duly elected president of the United States is an affront to the Constitution the rule of law due process and common decency.
The fact that we allowed Russian interference in determining who would be elected president of the United States in 2016 is an affront to the Constitution, the rule of law, due process, and common decency.
We will not let it happen again in 2020.

It's sad that you think the Russians had anything to do with our elections.
If people are stupid enough to be fooled by really terrible, badly written memes..... well... that's no one's fault but their own.
Just like when Obama decided to interfere with the Israel's elections.... if that fooled anyone enough to vote for the other guy... that's on them.
There's no such thing as interference unless it's actual voter fraud or cyber intrusions.

Yep. Meanwhile, in sunny CA, they’ve legalized ballot harvesting. Sergei ain’t got nothin’ on the left coasties.

There's nothing wrong with ballot harvesting per se. So long as only people like notaries can do the harvesting, and the harvesters are audited. Both parties are free to harvest ballots in CA, you know.
But it does show why we should be more skeptical of national popular vote. A state that does vote by mail shouldn't be added in with a state that only does voting on election day and in-person only, etc.

It's illegal under US law for foreigners to buy US political ads.
We indicted a handful of Russians for this, but, they were never on US soil and never will be, so nothing will come of it.
If we are going to keep this law, we need one more to go with it. It should be illegal for websites to run political ads without first making sure that the money comes from the US.

....we do it in every election across the world.
God we are the biggest hypocrites on this planet.
Obama was just in Canada last week interfering with their election.

Dont worry. The dems won't outsource it again, they're running their oppo research out of the house.
You have a strange take on checks and balances, my friend.

Did ya have a problem with him doing it in Israel while he was?
I don't... every major power does it. My question is why does everyone act so surprised?

This. Foreign interference and attempted manipulation of populaces in elections processes have been going on since free elections have been going on. Including the leaders of many foreign nations as well as our own. Nothing new here folks.

So are we changing from "It didn't happen" to "It happened but it's okay"?
Taylor's testimony today will likely seal the deal on House impeachment.

Russia did it on its own.
Just like we do things on our own.
No one in the US colluded with the Russians to allow them to purchase political ads. It's a big fat nothingburger.
