Because previous transcripts with other leaders were leaked.

Okay, and why would they not want this particular one to leak?

Why in the hell would you want any conversation with a world leader to leak? This isn't a normal thing.

Did they try to bury all Trump's conversations with world leaders, or just this one?

Normally, they put the transcripts of these conversations on a server that people in the State Department can see, because it helps them do their job.  This one was moved to the top secret secure server.  Why this one?

Link provide below for explanation. This whole thing is like a bad movie sequel where the big star from the original (Putin) doesn't come back so they get a different, less accomplished, actor to step in as the replacement in almost exactly the same role. The Whistleblower is the Steele Dossier and Ukraine is Russia. More Collusion! More Crime! More Collaboration! Bigger than ever before! (Spoiler Alert: Contains same lack of proof too!)

It's also a striking similarity to the root cause of the "Lock her up!" chants.

You need to understand how these conversations are recorded. The White House has several layers of communications people that fall under "White House Communications". They range from all branches of the military, intelligence specialists, and a scattering of alphabet agencies. All conversations are recorded for the safety and security of the president, not to spy. While conversations are being held, the "experts" are taking care to decide whether or not to classify those conversations and to what level. The initial system is one that collects notes in a repository until all members involved in the convo have dictated their notes and classification has been assigned. Once classified, all dictations are removed/transfered to the "High-side" classified side. Those conversation that require additional protection is transferred to a Special Access Program system that a select few have access to and require TPI (two-person integrity). All this to say, #1, this wasn't a "top-secret server" which by the way doesn't exist, this was the SAP system. #2, the administration has been doing this for over a year because of the random White House leaks. FYI, all information entered and accessed on the SAP system is logged heavily by not only the IT department but by security officials and cleared users that have a verifiable and read-in need-to-know.

I thought he put it on Hillary's closet box to make sure no one but the Axis of Evil had access to it?

Lol, Hillary's Closet Box would be a great lesbian punk band name.

Just more fear-mongering by the left and trying to push this evil, nefarious "thing" that the general public is not aware of. I am enjoying how all of this is unraveling already and beginning to turn attention to the other side that apparently loves to project.

Hmm, sounds like a special movie that both intrigues me and makes me Sick .

Remember when it was unpresidential to wear a tan suit and use a selfie stick? Those were the days.

Here's a link the MSN, hardly a Trump Strognhold, explaining that this call isn't all that different from their SOP.

I wish he'd tweet less, but the rage it invokes on the left is kinda enjoyable.

I don't care if you show up wearing a clown costume so long as you are working. The last 8-years showed that presidential is just code word for "smoke and mirrors". This POTUS didn't shop at Men's Wearhouse or have a Hartmarx made... add to the impeach list!

You're not contradicting anything in the redacted whistleblower report.
The author says he understands how the system usually works, and that multiple people protested that this was being handled in an unusual way.  He says that people who knew more about the call than he did argued with each other, some saying that nothing in the call had a national security sensitivity, but they lost the argument for the moment and it was being treated as if it did have national security sensitivity.  We know now that it did not.  Looks like an attempted cover-up to me.

I agree but who is enraged by this?

I was merely poking fun at him.
