This is exactly the case why people clamoring about "dO thIs nOw!1!!!1" should tone it down a bit.

We have no clue what any offers consist of, like you said.

Yep.  We'd save so little just unloading him I would just as soon keep him around unless we get a really good offer.  People comparing this to trading Campbell are clueless.
Brady will not return to the Patriots. This will be interesting to see where Foles stands in trade talks now.
I can imagine the teams responding first are trying to get Foles on a Tannehill type deal like Tennessee did last year. Unless the deal makes sense and is favorable why do it? Why make another faux pas? Go into the season with an experienced QB and a second year guy.

You could try to trade him to the Patriots.

Thanks Ms Foles
I think Foles to NE will happen. If not it makes a lot of sense
Some QB always gets hurt mid-season too. When that happens, they'll come a knockin'.

Been saying this since last October.  Sometime between August preseason games and the 2020 trade deadline could be when we get the right offer. Someone's starter goes down but they think they can still contend with a better backup, they'll find a way.

I'm hoping he's gone way before then...….like maybe next week.

I think a deal with the Patriots is likely.

I'm not sure.  Bellichik is an ego-maniac.  I wouldn't be surprised if he stuck with Stidham just to try to prove that he "made" Brady.

If that happens, after the dust settles Dave realizes he just sent Foles, our second rounder, and a 2021 pick, and somehow all we got is a packet of oyster crackers.

I would never trade a QB to a divisional rival. SO I can understand them turning that offer down. I think as most have said. And I have said the same thing earlier in other threads about this topic. He'll end up being a mid season trade due to injuries or poor performance at the position elsewhere.

The ultimate trade would be Wentz once again going down with injury at some point before the October cut-off amid a play-off push and we get a call back from the city of Brotherly Love asking for it's most favored and prized son back. I'll give him back to you for a 2nd or 3rd RD pick.
