That 3rd round pick didn't look so good when the Panthers were 3-0 but now it may be a relatively high 3rd round pick that the Jags get in their trade for CJ.  We just need a Tony Harding club to McCaffrey knee situation to keep him out.

This is a great point. Obviously, no one likes to lose a first rounder due to then busting, but given the situation, we may end up with a relatively decent pick.  we also got a very serviceable tight end out of it.
Henderson got hurt again today. He can't stay healthy
Do you all think UM was in on that trade or did the players organise it themselves despite UM?

His lack of heart is the biggest weakness.

If Baalke and Urbz knew what they were doing then that headcase would've been gone before the draft. Of course if they had traded him then it would've been to move up and take Kadarius Toney, so not that much of an improvement either.
Sucks but it's TRUE. Henderson is the panthers problem now. The guy is "fragile" and doesnt appear like he lives for football
CJ was inactive last week with a shoulder injury, and then he went out of the game today again with an injury. Dude can't stay healthy or just doesn't have the heart to play. Just another top 10 draft bust for the Jags.

He was fine here earlier this season and in the limited action before he got traded. Him getting hurt for the Panthers doesn't make him a bust for the Jags. Trading him this prematurely is deja vu of trading Reggie Nelson, written off as a bust in year 2-3, then goes on to make a few probowls and lead the league in interceptions for the Bengals & Raiders.

No one ever questioned Reggie Nelson's heart for the game. CJ Henderson just doesn't seem to care.  Watch his interviews and how he interacts with his teammates.  Plus, CJ just can't seem to stay healthy.

Yes - it is another bust draft pick from Dave Caldwell, one of many top 10 picks that failed to pan out.  The fact that the Jags didn't even interview the guy only makes it worse.
Jags 2017 was such a pinnacle for Caldwell and crap hit the fan at any other time during that regime

It's rare that a post is so bad it doesn't deserve response.

....and I've gone and contradicted my own thought. Such a dilemma.
Funny how Jaguar fans can not move on from players no longer on the roster. It happened with Ramsey, Yan, Fowler, 4net, and now CJ.

Elsa is singing somewhere. If they're no longer on our roster why feel the need to talk about them so much?
Can't wait for the thread about Philly losing so Minshew deserves a shot
I think we can now safely say we won this trade.
Yeah it appears we did. CJ on inactive list for panthers this week.
It's almost as if the pick was a reach......

And Caldwell said that if CJ wasn't there Chaisson would have been the pick...  Laughing

That just goes to show the complete incompetence that we as fans, have had to put up with for years and years. It's embarrassing!
"The Raiders have waived CB Damon Arnette, a first-round draft pick in 2020, after he was seen on video making death threats while wielding firearms."

Another 2020 first round pick CB is gone. Atleast we were able to get something for ours.

He was just kidding, right?  We should pick him up.
