Given Khan’s past record of excessive patience, coupled with his enthusiasm for Meyer, it indicated he would keep him until next year. I was wrong.

Same here.

Typically, I agree.

But the writing was on the wrong very early on.

The hiring of Chris Doyle was the first one and a big one. It’s obvious why he wanted Doyle.
Can we put James as our starting RB now ?
Not sure I like this move. It places the team in the light of a team who caves to rumors, nationwide jokes, and overall just the stepchildren of the NFL.

But as a FAN I'll support Shad's call.

Which is what some of you half fans should've done with the Meyer situation. As a city we should've circled around the team and coach and told the rest of the league to mind their freaking business and we won't be bullied.

It now appears that as a city and team we can be bullied into managing the team how commentators and talking heads want.

I hope so, I also hope Hyde never sees the field again. Infact the should make him inactive this week just to send a message the Robinson is the clear cut number one.

You don't seem to believe all these reports were true.

Do you think all the negative incidents that were reported were made up?
I’m glad this was done now to give us time to hire someone new before the best candidates are already snapped up.

You did a terrible job here, Urban, just go.
MUCH RESPECT TO SHAD!  Didn't think he would do it
Just an embarrassing situation altogether from the very beginning
Wonder if the league office and the NFLPA had anything to do with this.
I can see some conversation with Shad and his folks with the league office and the NFLPA saying we have grievances to file and ready to send out press releases. Shad if you make him go away, these will go away. And Shad told the league office, and the NFLPA, no problem will take care of this tonight.
Thank you Shad. Was sure Shad would give him at least one more year. To right this ship, he should bring in a respected and experienced NFL coach. I can't see this team attracting good free agents, which is needed, unless a recognized well respected coach is put in place.
So now that Meyer has been fired:

Trevor should get better now and stop throwing INTs

Our O-line will suddenly learn to start blocking

Receivers will start getting open and learning to catch the ball again

D-line will begin getting to the other teams QB

It should automatically happen right?

You think Meyers contract is a hit for a billionaire like Khan? LOL!!!

You might think 40 or 50 million dollars is chump change for a guy who has an 8 billion dollar net worth, but it's not chump change for a guy who came to the United States from Pakistan with about $9 in his pocket.

I worked with a client with a 2 mil account freaking out over a $7.00 fee.

If rich people were loose with their money they wouldn't stay rich.
Would be funny if we start to play the rookies, use Robinson correctly, and Trev starts to improve and we go on a winning streak to end the season lol

If they play harder for an interim coach, those aren't the guys you want.
There once was a coach named Urban Meyer
Whom analysts and fans questioned his hire
With his hands and his feet
His antics turned up the heat
Causing Shad Khan to say "You're fired!"
Any other coach in NFL history gone undefeated against the AFC East in their career?
I am very surpised myer got fired.   I also belieave that the comments by josh lambo about being kicked was the final nail in him getting fired.

It might be good jags fired him,but it will be tough on the family cause he won''t be very happy about it.

I highly doubt this, but what if by some strange odd reason  jags win out with myer being fired?  that would be ironic.

I highly doubt it though.

Didn't you send Khan an email last week?  Maybe that's what did it.  Sorry I doubted you.
