I would not trade Allen.

Play him this year and see how his year ends up. Say he gets, 8-9 sacks. Pretty good but not great.
I would just tag him the next year.

If he develops and shows a pro bowl year the following year I would try to lock him up long term.

No need to do anything sooner.
lol at John Reid. All Pro huh?
2 tackles and 1 QB hit today.

So was the rest of the team..
Trade him, will have zero effect on the pass rush
Trade him. He does nothing. Load up on picks and rebuild again.
Trad him amd draft Will Anderson, use his money to sign Tee Higgins

I'm starting to agree. Don't know what we could get but he's the most tradable asset we have.
2 tackles today. Thats it. Against a woeful Broncos offense and a beat up offensive line.

"But, but, he almost gets there". Yeah. Tell your wife that a few times and wait until she pulls out her wander wand 3000 to finish the job.

Stop. Accepting. Mediocrity. At. A. Premium.

Some of us would probably be divorced without the wander wand 3000 lololol
Bruh.... take the picks. Fake franchise player.
This team can't draft and you want more picks?

Yes. Because at this rate Baalke is out in 2023 and somebody else can come in and fix this on the backend with Pederson.

This trade makes little sense for the Jaguars.  They need Josh Allen as bad as any other team.  He clearly has upside.  I do think part of his lack of stats is the players around him not doing their part.  It's not like we have a replacement on the roster.   His salary this year is guaranteed, so we wouldn't get any cap savings.  We also have him locked up for next year with the fifth-year option for a fair price, so I don't understand the rush to get rid of him.  This team has enough holes that we don't need to create more.  As Bullseye used to say, we got to stop drafting on a treadmill.

BTW, I wish Bullseye well.  His absence is concerning.  I know he previously mentioned health issues.

He’s not producing.

Why do you think Baalke will be fired at the end of the year?

Because it's all his fault the worst team in the League for the past 3 seasons isn't already the best after the first half of this season. If only Baalke could find that damn Easy Button all these armchair GMs would use he'd be worth keeping.

He's productive, he's just not getting the sacks we want from him. He has had some big games at times though. He's not a pro bowler but you need these kind of guys on your roster.
