I dont know. I just dont think he has it in him. Those mistakes he makes are just inexcusable and its the same mistakes over and over again. From pee wee to big leagues. Thats the cardinal sin of this sport. You cannot turn the ball over in the redzone. He has done it too many times already in eight games.
At some point he has to be benched for that. Sometimes words of affirmation and a pat on the back and a "better luck next time slugger' dont cut it.
Sometimes you need to be seated on the bench, isolated and out of the line up to get the bigger picture. I am not saying you bench him forever. I am saying you have next to nothing to lose now at 2 - 6 and it's a reality check for him. If he's "the man"? His ego should be able to handle it and take it in stride.
We've all been there man. Maybe not on a football field but at some point in life, we have all been there. Sometimes you need that to get your [BLEEP] back in gear. There's ZERO shame in that.

We're just losing in predictable fashion.. leaving points on the field, not being clutch with a late lead.

As bad as TLaw is right now, still need to give him the full season. I'm also sure he'll be the QB next season as well. The season after that? idk..Not lookin good though.
We have become consistent in losing, lost 5 straight and play a very talented team next week in the Raiders
I wonder if people like just have amnesia or are you really that ignorant?

No he wasn't, he said we were going to win today
In a year of unprecedented league-wide parity, we have still managed to [BLEEP] the bed.
Outscored 38-9 in the final 2 minutes of the halves. That's coaching and QB.

I got your banner in post 29. Perfect for you.
Just some thoughts and in no particular order…
1- Bad decisions by Trevor. Bad play call by Pederson but that ball must be thrown away. Must protect the ball.
2 - The team has no pass rush whatsoever and only one cornerback.
3 - The organization overpays for mediocre talent.
4 - This organization cannot draft.
5 - Shad Khan must turn football related matters over to a qualified VP of Football Operations.
6 - Baalke must be fired.
7 - The O-Line cannot pass protect well enough.
8 - Unfortunately I could go on…
Major changes must be made in every aspect

I understand, it's tough to lose. This what the team is, a bottom half team. We've already accomplished what I wanted from this year because it's what they are capable of and we knew that going in. Just because you didn't see that is on you.
They currently hold the 2nd overall pick in the draft. After they lose to Vegas it will be the 1st overall pick. First time a team has ever had three, number one overall picks in a row. Setting new all time lows for a Franchise that's been dwelling beneath the basement in the NFL for two decades. Embarrasing man. We're on par with the Browns and Lions.
If Hooker wins a National Championship with Tennessee and gets past the Bulldogs? I take him with the 1st overall pick. He sits in 2023 behind Lawrence and its on Lawrence to keep or lose his job.
Either QB can be traded in 2024 at some point. Its worth the drama. Its worth the competition.

Coaching and Defense you mean. We've typically had the lead in the final minutes (just like today) and the Defense consistently chokes it away.

So you want Lawrence to prove it in 2023, but you don't want to get him help? You'd rather waste a 1st overall pick on somebody who's going to sit on the bench? Exactly how does that help the team, or make any sense at all?

Makes perfect sense. Having a QB breathing down your neck while you had another 17 game season of excuses set up to give you the runway in 2023 is all he should need.
There's no Megatron or Julio Jones in this class coming up that would have more value than Hooker if he goes onto win it all plus the Heisman.

More atrocious when you trade Hooker to a team and he succeeds and we're stuck with Lawrence the Albatross.

The pick would have to be Bryce Young... a 25 year old Hendon Hooker?? what?

I'll take the winner at QB. Everybody is caught up on age while casually glancing over the fact that a lot of players lost an entire year of football due to Covid...
It's Hooker. Not Weeden...
