ETN is a gadget RB, he has to run in space. They traded the between the tackles RB.

He gets his yards on the edge of the tackles and rarely up the middle.

You mean the between the tackles RB that no one wanted other than the Jets and who has NOT done anything for a team that is thirsting for a rushing game and playmakers after the Breece injury.

Nah...people want another WR because Kirk, Zay, Ridley is not enough.

They will still complain about the defense, thought
I love ETN and I loved MJD, but when your RB is your best player you aren’t going to win many games in today’s NFL.

I didn't love the value of a RB in the first round. But considering his game changing speed, good hands, and pedigree as the ACC's all time leading rusher I figured it was worth taking a chance on since there weren't any other players around that pick that I would've rather had.

I think a rb in the first is subjective. Picking fournette at 4? Stupid. Taking a legitimately talented guy like etn at 25 tho, thats okay.
I like when lawrence takes off running. That helps open things up.
I don't think the defense has blitzed much today? That probably has to change.

I dunno, I think the dude would honestly like to win. He knows it helps sell tix. He just doesn't seem to be able to put together an organization that can do it.

This.

Anyone that claims he doesn't want to win seems like someone reaching at straws.     He's a billionaire.   He owns an NFL team and an EPL team.   He likes money, yes, but he wants to win.
Adams looks banged up.
Sad to say that Adams getting hurt might be our only chance
I wish we could fleece a team out of a first round pick
For josh allen, i think we would be better off with key or smoot playing in his spot and having another
Draft pick
What the hell Jenkins, you gave up the first down,. Calm that [BLEEP] down.

It's not a knock, it's just a fact. They are different players and it forces different play calling.

That's where I'm leaning but the team getting worse each week is incredibly scary. The fans are getting rabid after how bad this team has been over the last decade plus, minus the one glimmer of hope in 2017, which was ruined by poor organizational decisions. I'm not sure ending the season with games like this every week will allow Doug time to "build" on this season, even if I'm generally against switching coaches as quickly as the franchise has the last few seasons.

But hey, Jags just scored a TD! Maybe this will turn the game around and this will all be moot! Banana

Unless ETN fumbled before the goalline? Wallbash

No I get what your saying and the thing that makes me angriest is we did it in 2017. We had a playoff team that was genuinely good and we destroyed it in record time. Now we have to make the long journey again and I can't fault the locals for getting fed up paying to watch this year after year.

The last 5 weeks have been rough and it seems we aren't moving forwards right now but I like Doug and think he can definitely improve us. Is he the guy to take us all the way? I hope so but he may be the guy that rights the ship. I just don't know who's out there HC wise that can fix this quickly.

We need no miss drafts and FA pickups for the roster which the FO hasn't been good at.
Post line of scrimmage, this team is poor at tackling.

DC needs to be fired.
I feel like every scoring drive we have had for weeks now consist of 90% run plays and maybe one or two passes lol

You don't fix this quickly, all this emotive nonsense in the fan base is the failure to recognize that simple fact.
Hold them to at least a field goal before half...we get the ball first in the second half.
I'm stunned the Jags' haven't wasted a TO for no reason yet in this half.

Why delay the inevitable?
