Just saw this on twitter. Not sure where to put it but it made me smile. Fournette went for that!

Next week would be a great signature win. Not sure that beating a 2-5 team is.
Actually this isn't including today's game.

Bills should be looking for his replacement this off season. Can’t be making this mistake in year 5. He’s regressing.

When a guy has played mvp level football you can excuse a bad game lol. I know your trolling but theres no comparision between ja and tl as of right now

At this point in his career Allen was almost exactly the same QB as Lawrence but his team was 6-2.

And this team could easily have 5 or 6 wins right now. They should honestly.

100%
The last 5 or so games r lost we could have easily won if they played consistently for the entire game
Trevor is on pace for around 3900 passing yards, 28 total TD and 11 INTs on the season.

Would you guys be pleased with those numbers in year two?

His rookie numbers were 3641 passing yards, 14 total TD and 17 INTs.

I would take that. He desperately needs a true #1

I agree.  Consider:
  • The Jaguars have had a lead in the 4th quarter in 7 out of 9 games.
  • The Jaguars have either been tied or had the lead in 4th quarter in 8 out of 9 games.
  • The Jaguars have had the lead at some point in the game in all 9 games.
  • The Jaguars haven't lost a single game all year by more than 1 score.
  • The Jaguars are a top 10 team in point differential.

It would be very easy for the team to have more wins this year.

Okay but my point was that we've seen Allen play MVP level football for the past 2 and a half seasons, Lawrence hasn't done that yet so comparing them in this regard is pointless. Now if Lawrence comes out next year guns blazing and sets the world on fire like Allen did, then that comparision holds weight.

Yeah it's big improvement from last year.

If Calvin Ridley is the same guy from 2020 then we will have a true #1.

It's really not though. Allen wasn't playing MVP level football in his first 1 1/2 seasons, which is where the comparison takes place. Lawrence is currently through his first 1 1/2 seasons. You can't compare Allen's play in the past 2 years vs Lawrence's first 2 years. You have to compare Allen's first 2 years vs Lawrence's first 2 years if you're gonna go down that route. Which is exactly flsprtsgod's point.
All ill say is that after we took the lead

We tried in very best jags fashion to choke lol
(11-06-2022, 10:23 PM)TheDuke007 Wrote: [ -> ]I just noticed how closely Trevor Lawrence's stats this year compares to Aaron Rodgers:

Passing Yards:

Lawrence:  2,075
Rodgers:  2,091

Passing Touchdowns:

Lawrence:  11
Rodgers:  14

Rushing Touchdowns:

Lawrence: 3
Rodgers:  0

Total Touchdowns (Passing + Rushing):

Lawrence:  14
Rodgers:  14

Interceptions:

Lawrence:  6
Rodgers:  7

Completion Percentage:

Lawrence:  64.3%
Rodgers:  64.7%

Quarterback Rating:

Lawrence:  87.5%
Rodgers:  89.0%

Not sure how good ,or relevant, this is. Maybe I'm a pessimist but Rodgers is struggling and if I were a Packers fan I'd be worried he might be at the end of the road. TLaw looked really good today and that's good enough for me.

I understand the first few season comp. But my post was a response to a sarcastic post about how Allen threw 2 bad picks TODAY in his 5th year and that they should "get rid of him" obviously taking a shot at me or someone else for "hating" on lawrence.

My point was just that the difference between Lawrence NOW and Allen NOW is that Allen has already in (2022) shown he is elite, while Trevor (in 2022, his second year) hasn't quite done that yet.

I understand the confusion, but i don't know how to explain this any further lol.
Who was the player who slipped over in the first quarter to give Adams that easy 2nd td

Cisco I think but I honestly don't remember.
It was Cisco. It was also the lack of pass rush that out him in that position.

We have to hope it's because it's a young team, new coaching staff and new system.  The really aggravating thing for me is that 3 of those games were lost because we gave up a long pass play at the end of the game.
