Thanks - the school is right near the carrousel.
I am always happy when the Gators win, but could not help thinking we need Luke back when I saw the final score. Vanderbilt is not where Florida should score only 13 points.

Will he be back next week?

Unfortunately he probably will be. GDR back in the house.

Seriously, do you call Luke garbage just to annoy me? It looks obvious you are because of when you started calling him that.

There is no reason to hate Luke if you are really a Gators fan and have seen him play as long as he did. He never sucked after earning the starting job in a four-way competition.

He's allowed to have his own opinion. It's not his responsibility to keep you from being annoyed, it is your choice to let yourself be annoyed.
Del Rio > Appleby

Now... if that means much... IDK.

But I'll be glad to have him back myself.

It means a lot to the Gators, not so much to ignorant fans who have only seen them play in 2-3 games and think they know more than the coaches.

Of course, the only people who matter are the coaches who watch Luke and Austin at practice and their teammates, especially on offense. Nobody else can possibly know more about each QB's abilities, football intelligence, and intangibles. So as fans we should not pretend to know more than what can been seen and heard during games. That is why I kept asking Tyler why he rushes to judgement about Luke not being a good QB after less than four games in a Gators uniform.

Thirteen points at Vanderbilt tells me one thing: Florida needs Luke back. We always blow out the Commodores. The fewest points we scored with #14 throwing the ball was 24. Obviously LSU is much better this year than Vanderbilt, so there is no doubt in my mind we would lose with any other QB on the roster. That does not mean LDR is good enough to win games for us with his arm, of course. What it does mean is if we get him back this week, we have a much better chance of pulling off an upset than if Appleby needs to start again.

Last years score was 9-7...so not always a blow out.
Belichick started Bledsoe over Tom Brady after watching them both in training camp and through preseason.

Obviously Bledsoe is better than Brady since the smartest man in football was able to see each QBs abilities, intelligence, and intangibles in making that decision to start Bledsoe over Brady.

You obviously are assuming I think coaches are always right. I don't.

haha.

My opinion has no link.

However... http://www.espn.com/college-football/tea...ida-gators

stats are in Del Rio's favor.

But Appleby played TN, which was the toughest matchup so far....

Keep in mind Appleby played fewer quarters than Del Rio. That difference skews the stat sheets.

Appleby played at Tennessee because he had to. He made some bad decisions during  the second half.

Uh... yeah... but his YPA is directly linked to his ability to push the ball downfield, (and he had two long bombs in the TN game).

fewer quarters but not by much.

I stand by my opinion, LDR>Appleby

Me too. Appleby was OK at Tennessee but we clearly missed LDR at Vanderbilt.

Is LDR expected to play Saturday?

Expected might not be the term I'd use.

He wants to play.

He thinks he can play.

Coach isn't going to risk some re-injury though.

Should have an update this afternoon.
Thanks Kane. Looks like the main issue is range of motion now.

UF - LSU canceled. They couldn't play at LSU?

They couldn't play on Sunday, which was proposed? They could've flown into Tampa and been just fine, and then played Saturday. LSU was hell bent on getting another game in Baton Rouge out of this.

I have no idea what was proposed. I'm sure LSU would be fine with playing in Baton Rouge, lol. Florida couldn't figure something out?
