See, I told you.

The SEC said if the game is not played, both teams will automatically be ineligible for the conference championship. So a makeup date was required.

UF loses two home games, but still make that money off the insurance payments. That makes an absolutely awful home schedule the worst in the country. How much do people have to "donate" to get tickets on a yearly basis?
The school should be ashamed to take any money from people on this.

awesome that people still put football above real life
and then spin it to make it sound like FL wanted it canceled.
And now they are playing in Baton Rouge anyway...
they must have gotten over the fear all of a sudden

Scared of playing a team we play every year...yeah, makes total sense.

Quote:Yet FSU traveled through to Miami to still play that game but the Gators wouldn't board a plane to play the game elsewhere citing weather concerns. USF ain't far from Gainsville. They still played. Georgia played. SC played.
I'm just saying it looks like what it looks like to most people. For the record I don't give a crap about college football. I'm just saying.
Aaaand its rescheduled. Like I said, it was for precautionary reasons.

Gainesville area residents were more scared about real life. They expected long power outages that would ruin their food and prevent them from getting gas. Lowe's and Home Depot sold out their battery lamps (my mom looked for one). I was mad at the national Weather Service and National Hurricane Center when all we got was more wind than usual and a normal amount of rain because they could have played.
UF did not want to cancel it, but it was their decision not to play after they talked to Governor Rick Scott and others who believed Matthew would destroy Gainesville.

Arkansas is whippin the gators....

I can't believe this. Second best defense in the SEC is playing like crap against an unranked team that got blown out last week.

Yeah...defense is Florida's issue...right.

It doesn't matter, gators never had a chance at getting in the top 4 rankings and they'll get blown out by Alabama in the sec championship game

Florida's best win this year was over Kentucky...all you really need to know about this team.

Didn't have anything to say in the week 10 games thread since we all know you're full of [BLEEP] so you came here to say the same [BLEEP]? Nice.
You must literally be married to that sack of trash you call a QB.

They at least had a chance of making it to the SECCG. Now it'll be Tennessee or Kentucky. This team might lose their next three games.
Del Rio has to be benched. I don't care that Appleby isn't much better.

If you watched the game today you saw tons of missed tackles. Florida has a good defense so I want to know why that is happening.

Gators fans need to know a lot of things about the team.
