I agree, I don't think it will be close.

I offered the bet when it was 14 and that's what I'm going to keep it at.  Why am I going to give you more points and give myself a disadvantage just because you came in later?  That's not lack of confidence, that's stupidity.  You can call it special and try to push buttons all you want, but when I make a bet I'm going to win.

That's great, go with your 14 points. Not pushing your buttons to entice you to bet, don't care either way. You're implying you've never lost a bet? That's comical! You have a hard enough time keeping track of who posted what on here.

I'm not sure why I you feel like I need to justify myself to you.  You are the one that wants me to bet with you.  I offered the terms.  You can accept it or not....if not, shut up and move on.  If you were so confident, what's 3 points?

What you said about your betting experience is likely a lie. Just like you, I offered a bet, we disagree. I think that has been established. I'm not confident in Washington which is why I offered the 17.

i have not gone through and dissected your conversation but just from what i recall about posts ive seen, i believe ucf knight was just saying he doesnt make bets that he thinks he might lose, not that he never lost.

 

i fully agree with him though that if he offered the bet at 14 and the spread changed, thats not his problem. the offer is still there for 14, but he doesnt like the bet at 17 and doesnt feel comfortable like he is giving himself a fair chance to win if he takes that bet.

 

its ok for you guys to just nix the bet, no one has to be forced into it on terms they dont want.

 

this is a message board where we have a lot of crap posters, like jdub, bklyn, spacecoast, etc... lets not burn bridges with fellow reasonable contributors even if you dont see eye to eye.

Don't go and ruin all the fun, we were taking turns at screwing up with auto correct. Agree with your post.. We never agreed to a bet, I don't feel like either one of us has pushed each other to move. Don't see what the big deal is.

Achilles, you would be correct.  I'm not going to make a bet unless I can get the terms I want and I'm not going to agree to terms when I offered them to someone else...which you can read in this post.

 

As far as burning bridges, I'm not worried about that with this one.  We rarely see eye to eye, and I couldn't tell you the last time I saw something of substance that he's provided that was worthwhile.

 

Anyway, Florida will probably lose to Iowa....wasn't the Outback bowl always the earlier game, like 11 am?  I saw it was 1 pm this year.

I offered you a bet, just like you offered somebody else one. It's really simple to figure out, why do you keep going back to it? Also, am i not allowed to offer a bet that is favorable to me? Hey, remember that time you went off on that unfounded tirade against me? You said some really nasty things. That was some substance! You should lose the holier than thou attitude, it looks bad.
