You mean 19 of 37 for 229 yards and 2 interceptions (one for a TD) wasn't enough to win the game? Wow I'm shocked!

Quote:Why do you say that? I am talking about the defense.
Because that's the problem. Not the defense.

That's awful. Then when you factor in that was against Arkansas and he shouldn't see the field again for the Gators.
The defense was on the field for just shy of 40 minutes...40 minutes!

When the defense misses tackles, it is one of the problems in that game.
You either do not understand the difference between one game and the whole season or just want to drive me nuts.

Luke Del Rio is the problem. With a better QB that whole team looks better.

Not to mention how I noticed the announcers say on more than one occasion he's getting scared feet and sacking himself. Does this not sound familiar to a certain QB we had not too long ago?

There's no excuse for a program like Florida to have to suffer though some of the QB's we've had recently. Things better improve in that area next season or Coach Mac will get the Muschump treatment.

Wasn't Muschamp at Florida for more than three years though? It seems they've done everything they can with coaching staff, personnel, schemes etc and they haven't had a good offense since Urban.
Saw someone today suggest Chip Kelly in Gators Reddit forum. I'll say the same thing here I did there, I'd die of happiness the minute I found out this was true if it indeed did happen.
With that said, I don't ever see it happening, just saying.

He was, but he was able to win 11 games his first season with Urban's leftovers. Honestly he should have been fired in his 3rd season after losing to Georgia Southern.
Chip Kelly would be interesting because I think he's a better college coach than pro coach. I just don't like gimmicky offenses and would rather have a scheme like Alabama and FSU. Hopefully in Coach Mac's 3rd season he'll have the players he needs to execute the offense he envisioned when he arrived.

I'll never forget that game. Losing to a team that didn't attempt a pass all game long.
I'd take Kelly in a heartbeat. He's a mastermind in college football and a great recruiter.

I work with a bunch of FSU and Georgia fans, and to this day I'm still hearing about that Georgia Southern game. It's an albatross that all real Gator fans will bear forever.

Tell me about it. If only the defense could have tackled better maybe then they could have converted 3rd down at a better clip.
