I think 31 would be.
I disagree. 31 against that team would still be underachieving by a good amount.

Not at all.
Are you all worried about the Gators having a bad season based on one "easy" game?

I couldn't care less what kind of season they have.
Overall, it was an expected win over UMASS. What more can I say about a team that I didn't even know had a football team.

Poor gator fans.

Since this season will be a throw-away, they will probably be reminding us all how well Tebow plays baseball and how much they can't stand Cam Newton

UF appears to be many years away from being relevant again.

I don't feel bad for them. They'll be back eventually. It wasn't too long ago we were dealing with the Drew Weatherfords and EJ Manuels of the world while Chris Leak and Lord Timmy were winning national titles.

Now they are dealing with turds like Driskell and Treon Harris while Jameis and Francois keep the Noles in contention.

It's all cyclical.

Gators fans know this season is NOT throw-away, You are crazy if you think they would throw in the towel after one game.
How was this game any different from the FSU game.... Both UF and FSU played teams they should beat 9 out of 10 times, both played bad in the 1st half, then played much better in the 2nd half... one team already crowing themselves champions, and one team realizing they have a lot of work to do.... Who's more grounded... UF fan that realizes they didn't play a complete game, or FSU fan that doesn't realize they didn't play a complete game?

Nobody ever crowned Florida champions before the season began. The Gators were ranked #25, lower than #18 Georgia. You don't know what you are talking about.

Florida's habit of playing better in the second half dates from the beginning of Will Muschamp's tenure IIRC.
"and one team realizing they have a lot of work to do....UF fan that realizes they didn't play a complete game". refers to Florida.

All teams have a lot of work to do. No team is nearly perfect in Week 1.

JW, do you read the whole post before you hit reply? He wrote nothing about Florida being crowned champions before the season began.
Looks a lot like what Florida has been on offense the last couple of years. They don't have a QB, they don't have difference makers. The defense looked worse (albeit without Tabor). The kicker seems legit though.

Kentucky is not good, so I could see them winning this weekend.

Oops I read "one team" and for some reason thought he was referring to Florida.

Yes, I did read the whole post.

I disagree. UF is at the beginning of a throw-away season. The players know it, the coaches know it, and the media knows it.

Now that I've said it 2x, please look for the signs all season long from the Gators. It will become obvious to you in time.

Besides practice and hoping for NFL scouts' attention - what are the Florida Gators players doing out there? Hoping to play FAMU in a meaningless bowl game in December?
