Pass Rusher baby!
From first glance Abdullah seems like a solid pick. OLB in a 3-4. 10 sacks last year. not an every down player but a rotational pass rusher in passing situations. For a 5th round pick that feels like the best we could likely do. Hopefully he'll be able to give us a threat off the edge.

Clearly dont know [BLEEP]. LOL. He's an edge. 20 sacks in 2 years....

But can he cover?
Where the heck are our DB's? We got rid of Griffin.. Ok that's probably a good move, but we literally replaced him with nothing and have no depth behind it.
Undersized edge rusher.

Hmmm.

I'm trying really hard to trust that Pederson/Caldwell know what the hell they are doing on defense this year, but I definitely do not see it yet.

Beat me to it.
We double dipped at LB?

Can anyone explain this?

I will remind people of Trent Baalke's records with San Francisco:

Season 1:  13-3
Season 2:  11-4-1
Season 3:  12-4
Season 4:  8-8
Season 5:  5-11
Season 6:  2-14

I hope history isn't repeating itself.  I really like Trevor and Pederson, but they can't do it by themselves.  Drafting is a key component to long term success.
The colts got rush

Not the 4th rounder, but the 5th rounder is an undersized pass rusher.

Don't need to worry about coverage when you have edge lords getting after the QB.

Oh okay, I only saw LB on the TV broadcast, didn’t know he was an edge. Thanks!
Are there any DBs left worth taking? Maybe we’re going to trade for someone?! Are there any FA’s?

Great pick.  Colts have had a good 4th round

Abdullah is an edge. Miller makes sense if Lloyd moves outside and Walker inside...

I don't know - but I'm praying Baalke has something, anything on his radar to compete at nickel.
No opinion on this one as he didn't have a 3 cone drill number

We don't really get after the QB consistently,  but we do get burned over the middle on 3rd downs consistently though.  Another year coming of watching opposing offenses walk up and down the field.
Got a 3-4 end and a 3-4 rusher, pretty solid gets.
The NFL draft is too much for Baalke, he’s like a child trying to compete with men… it’s embarrassing, Jacksonville needs better…
