Ok. So. Looks like Herndon's got his work cut out for him this summer for his job. That's three guys that can play nickel we just took.

Well of course, but that’s what I’m curious about. There are a few people on here that thought highly of him.

I hope I don’t come off as disrespectful, but a lot of people on here pay attention and favor SEC football more than any other conference, whether they choose to admit it or not.

Lawrence is going to cost us probably $300M. You can fully expect Baalke to draft more offensive lineman next year early on.
I am willing to bet they wanted to trade up for another lineman in this draft but couldn't pull one off that made sense.
I know people were high on Torrence here but it feels like this staff was getting scheme specific in this draft and they don't want to take the wait and see approach with another class.
After Walker and Lloyd's slow progress as rookies? Can't say I blame them for this specific approach during this draft. The biggest. I mean, BIGGEST hope for 2023 is Walker and Lloyd solving our pass rushing woes and Caldwell being a more comfortable, confident and competent play caller as a 2nd year defensive coordinator.
Baalke loaded this class up with picks. Went heavy on defense today and is covering his [BLEEP] in this situation.
