Much better picks today than yesterday with Antonio Johnson leading the group. Wish they would have taken Vorhees, however, since they had so many late picks and could afford to sit him for a year.

Dude, we're in the heart of southern football lolol

Everything is SEC around here, been that way foreva..

True, but the SEC isn’t the only big game in the country.
That's how you trade back. Ravens had to give up a 6th in next year's draft for a 7th to get Vorhees. Great deal for both sides
Although he needs a year on someone's practice squad to get stronger, Army's Andre Carter is still on the board. I hope someone takes him....

What conference wins the championship the most often? I hope my question comes off as disrespectful.

NFL teams don’t give a damn if a conference wins more championships than another. They care about how well players utilize their talent.

In the top 10 schools with HoFers, only Alabama is in that top 10 at #7. NOW I’m trying to be disrespectful. You don’t like it? Don’t be a [BLEEP].

That's fair.

Crazy, right?

Wait until you hear this: the city where the pro team plays has hosted an annual collegiate rivalry game for damn near 100 [BLEEP] years and the pro teams fans are, by and large, fans of one of the two teams. Whoda thunk it?
Let's see if you can wrap your head around this: the place also hosted an annual collegiate bowl game that, for a goddang generation featured an SEC qualifier. Think that's gonna make an SEC team some fans?
Finally, the place was named after an SEC teams' nickname for a nearly half a century and the people that filled that place are still an SEC team fans. It's hard to admit.

I am a disrespectful dick. Especially to half-[BLEEP], [BLEEP] phonies.
Back on the clock soon
I've been an FSU fan for 45+ years now, way back when they were independent. The SEC was king around here long before then lolol

Not to be disrespectful, but what is your point? We should all not be that way because you want us to? We know other teams, but prefer to be as we are.
I mean does it even matter? Baalke can't draft beyond the 3rd round. Almost all of his picks (in every draft hes done) after round 3 are bad. Half of these guys probably wont even make the roster.

You really think 13 rookies are going to make this roster? And that isn't even including some UDFAs.
Another DE

Parish a steal in the 7th

2nd best pick in this draft
And...that's a wrap. Day 3 made a difference for this draft.
My only complaints. I am being a little nit picky here.

I would have preffered Nick Herbig over Ventrell Miller.

I would have also preffered Zac Kuntz over the safety at 208.

Reasoning is because we already have so much tied up at ILB that it didnt make sense to take one there.

Abdullah + Herbig just looks so much [BLEEP] better on paper from a pass rushing need and perspective.

Then. With Kuntz over Hallett. It was an easy decision. You already took Johnson and the kid from Rutgers there to compete with Herndon for the nickel job.

But... we still lack depth in the TE room. Engram, Strange and Farrell. Kuntz was a freak athlete, untapped potential, funny enough, had previous ties to Penn St. prior to being at Old Dominion and I think he would have given us a fun and intriguing body to work with.

We still have an undrafted class to turnover of course and if Lloyd is moved outside to add into the pass rushing department? The Miller selection becomes slightly more tolerable for me.

So we used a rifle to begin the draft and a shotgun to end it. Interesting as hell.

He's a freak athlete for his position. Think he's number one RAS all time. Just saw him last week in the community. Thought he would be a Raven or 49er for obvious scheme fit reasons. He's an interesting pick. Love it.

Worth noting that the team apparently love Garret Prince the te on the practice squad last season maybe why they didnt get another
