Don't like it.
Oluokun is one of the best 3-4 ILBs in the league and has 2 years left on his deal.
No need to plan his departure prematurely.
Meanwhile we have nobody to play the nickel.
We passed on a [BLEEP] ton of DB talent in this draft.
I hope Baalke has something up his sleeve to get competition into camp for our slot DB.
Having 2 years left on a deal don’t mean squat.

The Chiefs killed the draft last year and had a bunch of rookies that helped the win a SB
Yeah. Very specific, situational role players.

Chris Smith would be a steal

Meh, we could have easily added 3 starters and upgrades
We added upgrades and scheme fits. Harrison is an upgrade and scheme fit. Strange is going to be an H-back and heavily involved. As will Bigsby.
Key and Smoot's 1,000 snaps combined from last year just had it's replacements added in Lacy and Abdullah.
Miller being added at ILB more than likely means Lloyd is moving to OLB. Walker down and inside potentially.
I think we're making very safe bets that fit specific needs that have clearly defined roles and people don't know how to read beyond the position flashing on the sports ticker by the player's name.

Well said. Doug knows what he needs.
Budda still there for trade..
We have the 25th pick in round 5 coming and the 8th pick in round 6.
CB, CB or Guard
A HA! figured out why they go to commercial. It takes more time than normal to put the name on the jerseys...has to be it
There is still some real nice talent on the board.

It does when he's a valuable player worth every penny of the deal.
He is an asset to the team. Not someone to casually jettison.

The inside linebacker they selected is clearly depth and special teams. Which leaves you scratching your head about why they picked him when they did.

Have to believe the Jaguars have their eyes on 1 or 2 free agent corners/nickels. Bryce Callahan would be my choice since he has experience playing nickel and is affordable. Rock Ya-Sin and Ronald Darby would be good, but much more costly.
These [BLEEP] gonna make me wanna start drinkin again lol

Oluokun isn't going anywhere. One could argue he's our best player on defense.
Vorhees is still there
Do you think they’re focusing too much on super high character guys rather than drafting for talent? There has been so much talk about culture by them, I feel it might be clouding their judgment. Eg Wigg said that there were potential character concerns with Torrence.
The announcement of the pics is lagging far behind the pics that are in and public knowledge.

Who do we like for our next picks?
Antonio Johnson. Know nothing about him
Someone high on the writers boards. Fans gonna be happy.
Can the commentators shut up and announce the picks?
