Lloyd has improved greatly from last year.
I don't know what's happening with the Defensive coaching in terms of Pass Protection, but sweet mary!!! These guys understand their positioning and their responsibility. It's impressive watching these guys. They are just as good as any of the top NFL defenses!
Pre-game announcers were all over how Saints defense has held opponents to 20 points per game
IF it keeps going like this, the challenge may be staying focused. Doug should be able to make sure that’s not an issue.

He's aggressive in the run, and he's always in the right spot in the zone... He's looking good.

And Carr is frustrated. He can't operate when he's like that, which is one of the reasons his star has fallen.
So, down 11 in the 2nd quarter and the saints are already feeling desperate enough to go tmfor it on 4th near midfield.... They know they ain't clawing back on this Defense late in the game.
