Didn't MJD play the better part of a full season with an MCL injury?

If this is a radio show, don't forget too that their job is to keep listeners tuned in to the ads. If a doc chimes in with "durr, it's Trevor, he'll be fine, end of conversation" they got nothing to blather on about for the next hour.

Kinda like how TWC blows every thunderstorrm into the next preview of armageddon...if they just say, a little wind and some boomers, y'all will be fine, who's staying tuned in?

If we rest him, the risk of further injury is still there the next time he suits up.
It’s weird how this place has become more negative the better the jags have become

I am a Bobcat and no, no it would not be interesting. I don't want his first live action to be on a national stage on a short week in which he wasn't given the majority of time to practice. It would be about as bad as his brother's showing last saturday.

Let him come in when we are up 2 scores with about 4-5 minutes remaining. THAT would be interesting.

I get that but this is an orthopedic surgeon doing a weekly slot. He’s just offering his advice from experience and observation. I doubt he cares about ad revenue and show ratings.

However, they did mention Lawrence’s arrest.

What arrest?? Tune in next week…

Injured Trevor has people on edge.

come February we find that it might have been wise to leave a breathing hole.

Whoopsie!
Tevaughn Campbell elevated to 53

Have you ever played a sport gimpy?

Trevor is by the most basic analysis, gimpy.  Maybe he's 100%, but he's got a thing on his knee, so he's gimpy.

3 days after getting his gimp.  What's so important about New Orleans that we gotta risk it?  Let the back up prove he's worthy.

If we lose, we lose.  But at least we'll know that Trevor Lawrence has had 10 days to heal.  I don't understand ya'll that want to red line every engine.  You don't have to go all out in a mile run in the first 1,800 feet...
There's about 2 outcomes tonight.

Outcome 1: Trevor plays, but we lose close

Outcome 2: Trevor doesn't play and we lose close.

Side note - If trevor plays we are subjecting him to further injury. I'd rather not do that.

Hahahah

So no chance they win. Got it!

Have fun tonight!

I want someone who will come in, execute the plays that Doug will call and then not turn the ball over. In Beathards last year truly getting playing time (2020), he was 64% with 6 TDs and no interceptions.

No confidence in either Beathard or Rourke but I think Rourke has the potential for a 3-4 turnover game if he plays.

With our [BLEEP] o line I would much rather have someone with a little mobility.

But with any luck we won’t see either.
This. That's my biggest concern as well. I would rather have Rourke's mobility in this one as well if needed.

YES ! Every game, every play TL is in the game for he has a risk of injury.  The same is true for every other player.  Problem I have with knowing whether he should play or not is a lack of information, just like any Doctor other than those that have examined him.  I trust the Jags will do a good job on this decision. (I bet our owner will make sure)

and yes I have played sports gimpy...also we do not know if TL is gimpy at this point in time.
Saints will be playing with a backup LT and a backup RT
Walker and Allen will dominate tonight

We saw this narrative in week three with the tinhorns. Resulted in nothing on the stat sheet. Hoping it's a different story tonight.

Allen maybe.. who knows what Walker will do.

Also, they will have to because our coverage without Campbell could be pretty bad.
