He has no emotion and he said Kirk was out at the 1 yard line on his TD when he wasn’t even close. He just doesn’t have it anymore. He’s asleep

He’s been calling football games since 1971.

1971!
He's a legend!

But when it's time..... It's time.

Especially when it's a nationally televised primetime game.

I'm not usually one to get on announcers and analysts but no one last night knew anything about the Jags. Someone mentioned Darious being a slot corner his whole career.... Wrong. Sherman said Trevor hasn't been playing good football. Al Michaels barely knowing the plays or players.

It just seemed lazy for a nationally televised game.

They may not know now, but they're gonna know all about them later in the year and for many years to come.

He could get more sacks if guys like Walker actually stepped up and pressured them or flushed them towards him. That's what needs to be stated here. We need Hamilton back but Walker needs to be moved so he can collapse the pocket for Allen's pressures to convert to sacks.

And is it just me or was he wearing eyeliner?
Like some sort of movie villain version of a QB?

He definitely looked like he was wearing it

His call on our comeback in the WC round was so emotionless
I agree about those two guys not knowing anything about the Jaguars....
heard them remark not sure about what "Duval" meant.... Rolleyes

Overall seemed lazy and uninformed about the game.

He's always looked like he has eyeliner on. Whether it is or it's just his eyes I have no idea.
Watching GMFB and the narrative is still the same: 'Somehow the Saints lost to the Jags.'

I remember Vic Ketchman remarking how perennial losing records create a stigma that'll take years to shed. Just keep winning, baby.
Win is a win. The offense has so much room to grow. It is great to win when they aren't playing their best.

Defense was on the field a ton and played well. Slight drop off when Cisco was out but nice depth. They have room to grow as well.

It is tough to win on the road and the team did it. Hard to be a super negative Nancy about the game. It is so good to watch football not failure.

Yeah. I mentioned this elsewhere. But Orlavsky did a whole segment on how good Trevor is seeing the field and his elite throws. Sherman was just lazy in not doing prep. Still has that bias against Jacksonville having a team. That whole Prime crew just mailing it in, except Herbstreet. He usually gives fairly good analysis.

Yeah. They really are playing him out of position. I think he does okay in coverage. But put him in position to play to his strengths!

Side note - If trevor plays we are subjecting him to further injury.  I'd rather not do that.
Look at this loser!
Team played 3 games between 10/8 and 10/19 on two different continents. The last one inside on turf. (akin to playing on a tennis court) The guys, ALL of them did well, but really need the extra day's rest before we play the hated Steelers. One thing I can say is after many years boys, we have a team.

Three of them picked Jags to win.  They love the jags.

He had a brace to keep his shoe on.
