Walker 0 tackles, 1 assist. Yea, I'd say so.

Don't forget ran passed by Carr. Walker is literally at Chaisson's level.

He’s setting the edge
What a contrast between Trevor and Derek Carr! We are so fortunate to have a quarterback that is not only physically elite, but also is respected by his teammates. You'd never see Trevor react towards his teammates mistakes like Carr did to both Kamara and Olave. Trevor still makes some mistakes, but I'd take him right now over every other quarterback not named Mahomes.
We need to try and trade for another edge Rusher

WOW, I do not agree with that statement.
Why has Walker regressed so badly? He looks TERRIBLE

Was there ever really much to regress from?
Not to mention Walker is going against back-ups most of the time.

Yeah
Gross hyperbole

I'm still somehow patient about Walker and think that while he doesn't fit the role of playing edge in a 3-4 he could very well turn into a great player playing as a hand down DE in 4-3 looks and a pass rush 3-4 DE/5-tech situationally.

If Caldwell can mix in more 4-3 looks as well as shift Walker to 5-tech in more 3-4 pass rush situations - I think he'll come to life.

The unfortunate side to it is he has still not learned the technique required of a OLB/EDGE to shed blocks by NFL tackles and the hope was that if we gave him time to do this he had more upside than the other 1st pick candidate

The window on that working out is slowly closing
I notice Walker dropping into a buzz coverage a lot of the time at least on early downs. Problem with that is he doesn't close and make a good tackle in space and coming out of college he was a do-it-all player on defense from the line. He has to have a niche somewhere we just have to find it. Chaisson doesn't even have that. He's just a practice dummy out there basically.
Well on defense Lloyd is coming around, he is playing faster. Blackson has proved to be quite a good pickup. I am interested to see how this front seven plays with Hamilton added in.

Lloyd is around the ball constantly - the mental side is coming to form
Blackson is a grinder - love the hustle

This front with Ham and the back with Campbell back is gonna be stout

Can’t wait.
The penalty right at the end on Jenkins was so poor

Also ridleys catch should of been challenged
The player that impressed me the most today was Buster Brown. What a game to fill in for Campbell tonight. The cardiac cats back at it again.
