Be careful what you wish for. If Trump isn’t the nominee, Haley prolly is, and if the polls are any indication, Biden has no chance of winning. At least against Trump he has about a 25% chance.

Trump lost badly in 2020 and he will lose by a wider margin if he gets the nom
It's odd that his supporters seemingly have no idea how many Americans despise him
It's more than 81 million

Haley will not win if she stays on this 6 week federal abortion ban nonsense

Conservative women will praise her in polls and public and turn on her violently at the voting booth

Trump will lose badly to a generic Democrat in 2024.  But Biden is not a generic Democrat. His age and the fact that voters blame him for the inflation make him very vulnerable.  I would bet on Trump winning the rematch.  The unfair part is inflation is now under control, but voter sentiment won't be sated until Biden is punished or prices go back down to what they were.

So why is Trump favored to win the election if he has no shot, as you claim? This isn’t 2020, dude. He’s not the incumbent. Every election is a referendum on the man in office.

And 81 million despise him? More than 100 million don’t want Biden anywhere near the WH after Jan.20, 2024. His presidency is a complete joke and his approval ratings are in the [BLEEP]. Dude cant walk into the Rose Garden without getting lost. He is friggin brain dead.

I'm not making a case for Biden approval ratings - I'm talking about how many voters will turn out to vote "anyone but Trump"

The other factor will be Biden getting the fed to drop interest rates in the first or second quarter next year to shift things his way with some of the fiscal voting segment. That will be crucial for him.

I - like many - wish there were better candidates - but just as the trump cultists were so surprised at how many new voters broke tradition to get to the polls to insure Trump was not elected in the last cycle - young voters and left leaning non-voters will spring into action again to keep the orange clown show out of the White House.

I just don’t believe the notion that “Too many people are against Trump so he won’t win.” That was the 2020 narrative, but this is a whole different story in 2024. Take polls how you will, but they do show way too many red flags for Biden. His support in a lot of key demographics that won him the presidency in 2020 have turned on him. He’s completely lost the youth vote, which is why he’s losing a lot of blue states.

I’m not sure if it’s going to be Trump vs Biden, though. if it is, I would put more than half my life savings on Trump to win. But I think there’s a better chance this ends up Trump vs Newsome or Haley vs Newsome. Maybe even DeSantis vs Newsome.

The youth vote isn't going to democrats like they are used to. You have a bunch of younger people rejecting college brainwashing or college all together, feeling inflation, and rejecting the woke crap. They are not trending towards democrats like past generations have.

That's probably true, but Trump won't benefit from it.  These youth may reject "woke" but they don't reject decency or reality the way Trump does.

And you know this how? Because they are so motivated to vote for Joe Biden and his 35% approval? Because the economy is so great they are lining up to vote for Joe?

If you’re gonna tell me there’s no way in hell Trump is getting in, you better explain to me who they’re going to vote for. Because it sure as hell isn’t an incumbent president who most every American says they don’t want back in office.
Can we stop the personal sniping long enough to acknowledge the sorry leading candidate choices we currently have?

Because they did it in the last election and they'll do it again.

a. I hadn't BETTER explain jack [BLEEP] to anyone, LOL - It's not my fault you haven't seen or understood any breakdown of how this country is voting demographically

b. You keep bringing up Biden and I keep telling you it could be Gumby and it wouldn't [BLEEP] matter as long as it isn't Trump -
A republican senator came out yesterday saying Biden could die in September and he'd still vote for him over Trump LOL

c. You should study who made up those 81 million votes against trump in the last election - unregistered folks came out of the woodwork to say 'oh, hell naw' to another term by the orange clown --  and I'm telling you they will do it again. Many of them young, first time voters.

It's an opinion based on history - you can disagree - but I hadn't BETTER educate you. Figure it out your self.

That's just an opinion that doesn't have to be acknowledged. A lot of people, including myself, think Trump is the only way out of this mess that the liberals and democrats created.

And these dumb [BLEEP] are too hung up on their hatred to see it.

DERP

I warn the youth to avoid all those creepy pervert republican officials getting arrested each week for sexual assault and inform them how many pastors and youth pastors in FL get arrested each month for the same.

You keep citing this 81 million against Trump but don’t bring up the more than 81 million who don’t want Biden back as president. Stop making this election about Trump…he’s not President dude. The election is ALWAYS a referendum on the incumbent. Always has been, always will be…hence why Trump lost in 2020. The public wants Biden out of office. I know you like the guy and all, but he is a terrible, terrible president.

And since you want to bring up history, no incumbent President with an approval this low at this point in their presidency and who trailed by this much in the polls has EVER won re-election.

I said it once and I’ll say it again…if Biden is the candidate for the Democrats, they have absolutely zero chance of winning. Their only hope is to pivot to Newsom or someone else. Hell, AOC or Bernie Sanders has a better chance of winning than Biden.

I've both acknowledged that Biden has a low approval rating and that I wish there was a better candidate on both sides.
Sorry you missed that.

I can make it about Trump if I choose - that's what this thread is about. And I choose to continue to point out to you that unregistered voters got out and registered in record numbers to vote against him once. It is perfectly logical to anticipate that happening again.

Biden's disapproval among the left does not signal that those voters will vote for Trump instead of Biden. And polling 12 months out from an election rarely proves all that accurate.

I believe voters form the youth segment, the minority segment, and the typical left leaning populace will happily or reluctantly vote for Biden to avoid the catastrophe of another Trump presidency.  (again) And I believe the 18-21 populace will once again produce a very large number of new voters who will mobilize to vote solely for the purpose of activism against Trump.

Your statements to the contrary are no more valid than mine - except that mine carry the weight of election results from the last race, and many of the state level elections since 2020 that have shown voters' desire to vote down trump, his supported candidates, and to vote against candidates supporting abortion restriction.

Here's a noted Republican telling you the same thing about this dynamic:
https://twitter.com/AccountableGOP/statu...81169?s=20

Annnnyway -  the thread is about his upcoming trials and his former appointees and lawyers who have agreed to testify against him. So I'll let the topic get back on track to that.

Meadows is looking more and more like one of the more willing witnesses for the prosecution. His testimony could wind up earning Trump a felony conviction which would render all of your speculation about polls and voting results null and void.

Meanwhile - Chesebro - who formally authored the fake electors scheme cooked up by Trump and his lawyers - has already plead guilty in Georgia for the role - and has now been granted an allowance in his parole to travel to other states who are still investigating and planning potential indictments just like Georgia did. Trump's impending 4 criminal trials could grow to 8 trials if each of those states decide to prosecute as Georgia has.

While all of these indictments and trials might embolden Trump's cult like base to become more loyal to him, any potential swing voters are more likely to be alienated by all of the damaging information and negative press that these trials will bring to light.
