Hunter Biden guilty on all counts.

So.. What's the chances of this case being thrown out if the courts weren't so heavily scrutinized now?

I say close to 100%

Judges don't throw simple cases like this out.

But prosecutors usually don't have time to bring such trivial cases.  Lying on a firearms purchase form usually only gets prosecuted as one of a combination of many other gun crimes, not by itself.

If I'm a teacher, and I'm beating a child on camera, and then a cop shows up and just stands aside while I continue to beat the child, does that mean it was right for me to beat the child?

The Oxford definition of hubris is excessive pride, exactly as I said.  If a person is right, it is not excessive for them to be proud of being right.

Oh hun, you don't understand the word "excessive" either. It's so sad that you can't accept yourself for what you are. Sad.

Explain.  What does the word mean and why is my usage wrong?
Here's my question for anyone. Do you think a person convicted of a felony should go to jail?

Excessive describes your hubris. It's either I tentional or you choose not to see it which is what makes it excessive. Class dismissed.

When the charges and trial are legitimate, as in the Hunter Biden case, but not when they aren't, as in the case against Trump.

Gotcha averted.

Sorry... not buying the Hunter conviction. It's just there to soften the blow for the majority. Nothing will come of it. I reserve the right to be proven wrong.

Of course it's all theater.. If they would have charged him with the more serious crimes he implicated himself with on that laptop, that pedo would get years and years and most likely would have gotten to meet The Gen Pop Welcoming Committee..

Any seasoned Law Enforcement Officer, or Prosecuting Attorney knows that every Crime syndicate needs, and always has, a "fall guy" at the ready. The chosen ones usually don't know it until after the defecation contacts the rotary oscillator and one of the higher ups need to be protected. Hunter just drew the short straw in this incidence so the heat would be taken off Joe and the real crimes being committed on a daily basis.

That is the pattern.
Let's think of how many fall guys Trump has had at this point.

Michael Cohen
Alan Weisselberg
Steve Bannon
Mark Meadows
the guys who just got indicted in AZ and MI
John Eastman

Seems like Trump might be committing more crimes.

I will admit my parents both watch way too much of that kind of thing.  If I had any control of what they watch, there would be no more than 30 minutes of politics a day.  Their current habits can't be good for their heart health.

Wrong NBC.  My TVs are tuned to CNBC until 7pm

Speaking of which, I was waiting for DJT Stock to drop to $40/share and here we are. Easy way to make 25% ROI as this will go up to at least $50/share now that the (potential) debates and election campaign are getting set to start.....  short term investment when the bell strikes at 9:30am.....

Update:  bought @ $40.16 --- stay tuned ...

Gosh no, you are not the definition, but rather the example of hubris and several other things like "eristic", "unserious", "vapid", "argumentative", and "disingenuous."

How would you have felt if they had acquitted him?

Must every political argument devolve into personal insults?

It’s like they don’t realize we can see Joe bumbling around.  Lol
