Quote:They need Adam Warlock and Norrin Radd to swoop in and save the day.

You can't have a real Infinity Gauntlet story without Adam, Norrin and Owen imo. I can't see them setting up Adam for this, Norrin I don't think they can use and Owen (probably my favorite of the three) they'd have to butcher since they can't set him up in Fantastic Four first.
Has anyone seen Arrival yet? I've heard from word of mouth that it is a really good movie and it got great reviews as well.

Fantastic Beasts and where to find them.

Loved it.

Did anyone watch the movie The Hateful Eight?

If so, what did you think?

Saw Doctor Strange a week ago, I enjoyed it and I'm not a huge fan of superhero movies, wish I saw it without 3D though.

I watched Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates yesterday. It was much funnier than I had anticipated. I really liked it.

My wife and I have given up on 3D movies at the cinema. We've seen too many which haven't enhanced the experience at all.
I tried watching the new Ghostbusters movie, but it was sooooooooo bad, I turned it off halfway through. It's not bad because of the performances though. The ladies did the best they could with the material, but the writing and the dialogue was terrible! The jokes were corny and immature, the plot was a mess and the CGI looked amateurish in places. It's a shame, because I really liked some of the actresses and feel they deserved better material.

After I turned that movie off, I started re-watching The Duff. It held up well, as I still liked it on the 2nd viewing. My only gripe was that it needed more scenes with Bianca Santos. She's so hawt!

I second this.
I'm still a huge fan of the early Dirty Harry movies.. Watching The Enforcer now.. Seen it 50 times and can watch it 50 more.

Incredible, pretty much.

Trying to load up the DVR while I still have all of the free movie channels.  Just recorded Dirty Harry and The Enforcer.

Just watched two of my (really) old favorites this weekend, Dirty Dozen as well as Blazing Saddles.  Gonna watch Animal House tonight.  Haven't seen that one without commercials, and all the language, in years.
Last night I watched X-Men: Apocalypse and The Devil's Dolls. The X-Men movie was mildly entertaining, but was the weakest film in the franchise by far. The backstory on Apocalypse was kinda hokey, certain shots went on way too long, certain special FX looked goofy and plot wise, it raised a lot of questions like, are we supposed to believe Storm is middle eastern? We know that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are twins, so why do they act like Quicksilver is an only child?

The Devil's Dolls started out pretty good, but quickly went down hill and had a lot of plot holes as well. For a horror film, there were minimal kills, but they were quite bloody. The problem was the story line. In the end, it turned out to be a typical "meh" horror film. Very forgettable.

An oldie I recommend, since Kirk Douglas just turned 100, is Lonely are the Brave.

It may be hard to find, but I highly recommend.

We watched Snowden recently. I don't know how accurate it was but it was fascinating. There is a documentary film on Amazon Prime I have on my list to watch.

We watched Doctor Strange at the theater Tuesday and I liked it mire than I thought I would. Benedict Cumberbach, however you spell his name, is an odd looking fellow and has a strange kind of voice, no pun intended, but I do like him as an actor and thought he did well. I look forward to seeing what Strange will do in Thor: Ragnarok.

Have you ever seen the UK TV series of Sherlock? He's excellent in that.

I'm really looking forward to Thor: Ragnarok
Flipping through the channels and see The Blue Max is on. Ursula Andress in her day...my, my, my.

I am too. I think Doctor Strange will bring an interesting dynamic to it that will, of course, eventually be seen in Infinity Wars.

I haven't. I think I have seen it on either Netflix or Amazon Prime Video. I need to check it out because I do enjoy him in the roles I've seen him in.
