I'm not as down on Ryan O. as some posters here, but no one can accurately gauge the offensive line after one padded practice. You make some predictions based on past performance, but that's about it.

Quote:True. But they also said linebacker was almost impossible to gauge this time of year. However, their comments about Joke and Beachum were not good. Shatley apparently has been awful. According to them, no one on that left side has been good.

Funnily enough, Mike Kaye has talked about Jack standing out a couple times already.

Socks the same color

Boxers inside pants

Shirt taggie thing in back

Helmet, facemask forward
This made me laugh.

That's why I also advise to consider the source.

I'm not sure Ryan O is even on my list.

Mike Kaye >>>>>>>>>>>> Ryan O
They haven't had pads on and the line has been awful. Who woulda thunk it.

Amanda Borges is pretty good from 10xl. You should follow her.

Great news so far in training camp... As long as we stay healthy, we're above the curve.
Hopefully JT only misses a few practices.

Oh you meant online......

Where is that curve as it pertains to our Jaguars?

I've kind of lost track these past several seasons.
1 Bad PRACTICE is nothing to worry about. Even for a team with a losing record, playing(or practicing) like [BLEEP] should never be tolerated. TBH I am happy Gus called the players out, and even cut the practice short. Have to send a message and set the tone early. Just "competing" isn't good enough this year. Its time to win and resemble a competent NFL franchise on the field.

I'm not gonna worry after one practice with pads on... seems a bit over the top, if you ask me.

It's the age of over reporting.  Even emotions are constantly tweeted and open for dissection.  Every team in all sports should have subpar practices and will have subpar games; it's called being organic entities, er, people.  That is, not perfect, subject to highs, lows and in betweens.  I'd be suspicious if Gus lauded every practice.

I've been sayin it gus said screw the ice cream I'm check in sacks at the gate untuck ur ish everybody should be gettin it like my grandma always said the three Ps practice hard play hard.........play hard? idk I'm not a meteorologist but she was a little crazy at the end there

This comment would have carried more weight if you said something about ice cream. That just cracks me up. It never ever gets old.
Are we talking about practice? lol. I know it is all we have to discuss at this point, and it is far better than the dead zone. I, for one, appreciate Gus cutting it short and chewing out the players due to sloppy play. Sending a message. This reminds me of a training motto I heard long ago: "Practice alone does not make perfect, only perfect practice makes perfect".

I agree. What I want to see now is the players be the ones to say something about it. Blake said something along the lines of "on good teams coaches lead, on great teams players lead" or something like that. Next time practice gets sloppy, I want to see Blake or Poz/Gipson call their side of the ball out.
