I have a feeling this one is not going to amount to much.  1) it was filed as a misdemeanor.  2) Bail was set at $500 which I assume is about as low as it can go.  3) There was no evidence of any physical injuries.  

 

I see references to police checking the video but I don't see it in the police report. But if there was video and the video doesn't show the incident then this REALLY is going nowhere.

 

Interesting that the scheduled arraignment has been cancelled. 

 

I'd be surprised if this one has much legs.

The truth will come out on what happened, but it doesn't sound all that crazy really. The victim shaming though, that's really sad.

But if true, he should change his last name to Skitza..

What I don't get is why he looks that way in the mugshot. I get that mugshots aren't supposed to be flattering, but he's looking rough.


To say he isn't a good player is just dumb. He's made an impact when healthy. I'm not saying he might not have done something regrettable, wrong or even criminal, but until the full story comes out I cannot say what my true desire for how Dave handles this would be.


The act of hitting a woman is not to be laughed at. Not when there are parts of the world where rape and complete subservience is everyday reality and women educating themselves is a crime.


The fact that nobody outside of this message board is talking about it leads me to believe this will blow over. But I am still withholding final opinion until the full details are released.
