Quote:Lol, there's really no telling.
With all that said though, I still really enjoy the show.
I'm more excited for the book at this point, sadly the show might be the only one of the two that gets finished.
Thank god for fan fiction i guess.
Quote:My favorite character in the show has always been the hound, he knows there is good and evil in the world and accepts living in the between and going to one side or the other when it suits him.
This. He knew who he was and used it to his advantage. I actually miss the character.
He'll be back probably episode three or four. I think they'll build it up but they've already set the stage in the season premier.
It's obvious Sansa is going to Castle Black or The Wall with Brienne, Podrick and Theon to gain Jon's assistance. It's also obvious that Ramsey and Roose Bolton will plan an attack or assault at The Wall knowing that Sansa is more than likely heading in that direction.
This instantly sets the stage for a clash between the Night's Watch and Wildlings and the Bolton's. It'll probably come down to the last minute when the battle has probably already broken out and Melisandre will manage to bring him back just in time as Azor Ahai to win the battle and he'll then work towards rallying the clans of the North to prepare for the Night's King army heading towards them.
Ghost may play a factor in his resurrection still. May need to die. I don't know. I think this Sunday's episode will revolve around King's Landing. Cersei and Jaime are fixing to take it to the High Sparrow for sure. And I think they finally bring Bran back into the fold and he'll reveal the Night's King's intentions and possibly Jon's parentage and what happened with his father Ned at the Tower of Joy.

I wouldn't count out the Hound just yet.
Caldrac, that's an interesting take. Now that I think about it, with HBO pretty much confirming that there will only be 2 more seasons left after this current one, the show is probably going to focus on a more continuous storyline, and episode 1 this season had them closing the loop on characters that they can no longer develop
The North is now the best part of the show.
Boltons vs. Night's Watch vs. Wildlings vs. the White Walkers and with Sansa, Bran, and possibly Jon in the fold.

When a character isn't confirmed dead (i. e. there is no body), chances are he isn't.

With Septon Meribald being cast this season, I think there's a pretty good chance it's gonna have something to do with the quiet Isle and the fate of the Hound. Also, someone has to fight/kill Robert Strong/The mountain.
One episode in. Tough crowd...
I hate that he's back. Ugh so predictable.
It's going to be interesting. Personally I thought it would be more dramatic other than how they revealed it. But it's on now. I kind of felt it was headed in this direction. Now Jon will rally the rest of the Night's Watch and the Wildlings to prepare for Ramsay's assault. They did reveal in the preview though that Ramsay was fixing to be "gifted" something. And I think that gift will be Rickon Stark. This will carry on with the Pink Letter being sent to Jon to entice him after he's been resurrected. So, from the book story flow, they're staggering things together and mixing it up a bit. Sansa should make it to the Wall. Brienne and Podrick will join her and Jon there.
I wanted Jon to be the one to slice off Roose's head and use his skull as a pimp cup.

Looks like he may have to settle for Ramsey's head.

So do I.

I'm not entirely sure why, but I kind of liked Roose even though I'm not supposed to. There was a certain dignity to his malice, much like Tywin, whom I also liked for what he was.

Ramsay in particular is messing with me something fierce. Ramsay makes Joffrey look like the Easter Bunny but I love Iwan Rheon as an actor...but Ramsay needs to die a horrible death sooner rather than later.
I'll take Ramsey over Joffrey.
As everyone expected this had to happen but I think they could have handled it with more finesse from a directorial standpoint. The laying on of hands and dramatic pause and startled eyes snapping open was a little cliched. Especially since it seemed to cost Melisandre so much effort to kill Renly but bringing someone back from the dead apparently just requires some overdue grooming.
The way Thoros brought Beric back to life was pretty quick too
