Where the heck is Bronn? He's probably my favorite character. Outside of Tyrion and Jon. Surprised we haven't see him yet. He did board the ship with Jaime back to King's Landing didn't he?

Now that you mention it, did he even come back from Dorne with Jaime? I don't remember him getting on/being seen on the ship...
In fact, the last memory I have of Bronn was him in the Dornish prison being taunted by the Sand Snakes.

I think the last we saw of him in the show was as they're boarding the ship to leave Dorne. Tyene gives him a lip lock and tells him he just "wants a good girl but he needs a bad...", well you know. Anyway, the Sand Snakes seem remarkably different from the book and in any case Bronn isn't in Dorne in the books and hasn't been heard of much after leaving Tyrion in his cell back at Kings Landing. He had married into a noble family but had disappeared after Tyrion offed Tywin, thinking Cercei might come after him.
Cersei doesn't like him. That's for sure. I think he named his newborn child in the book after Tyrion and that ruffled Cersei's feathers a bit I believe. Bronn lucked out into royalty. But I enjoy the actor behind him on the show. He's a comic relief but can also mess you up if he has to. It will be hilarious if he somehow ends up with Tyrion again at some point.

You don't remember the "what you need is a bad..." line?

Meh, I didn't care much for broken Jaime Lannister. I didn't care too much for bad-guy cocky Jaime Lannister, either. I think this story arc sets up really nicely for him to become good-guy cocky very, very soon. In the trailers, he is shown leading an army. He's about to be Robb Stark mixed with Arthur Dayne mixed with Tyrion Lannister. Confident, elite with a sword (I think we will see how well his training has paid off) and witty.
Quote:The Tyrion Targaryen theory is interesting. But it is hard to take into consideration. The only wildcard left is the possibility of Aegon and Jon Connington making a let appearance into this season and/or next season as the "3rd" dragon rider. Many fans from the books assumed this wasn't possible since it involved Tyrion story wise but I think they could always throw this out there at some point. Again, anything can happen. You'd then have a full blooded Targaryen in Daenerys, a half blooded Targareyn/Martell in Aegon thru Rhaegar and also another half blooded Targareyn/Stark in Jon thru Rhaegar. Rhagear Targaryen was an interesting character before his death. It was noted he believed that his son Aegon was the true Prince that was Promised. And I am of the theory that Aegon was not killed by Gregor Clegane during the fall of Aerys and the sacking of King's Landing.
I really don't see a way in which Bran doesn't warg into one of the dragons at this point. What else could they be hyping so much? The blood raven let the trews grow around him, not because he wanted to, but because he was waiting for Bran. Bran is going to be a HUGE player in the end game and how else can he do that without warging?
And then, of course, the quote "you'll never walk again, but you
will fly."
Try to convince me Bran isn't going to warg into a dragon at some point.
Quote:1. Varys
2. Tyrion
3. Brienne
4. Olenna
5. Jaime
I go back and forth between Jaime and Davos if I'm honest.
Assuming we are talking about just characters alive:
1. Tyrion Lannister
2. Jon Snow
3. Sandor Clegane (yes, I think he's still alive)
4. Tormund Giantsbane
5. Jaime Lannister

Lowest common denominator showing clearly......
They should just crown the dwarf and get it over with.
Quote:We all know Jon Snow is really King Roberts eldest son....
My wife thinks he is really Ned's nephew (Leona) and half Targaryn. I.e. Leona (sp?) and the Targaryn who "kidnapped" her (can't remember his name) were actually lovers. They had twins that Robert would have killed because they were Targaryn. Ned pretends one is his unwed love child (he never did talk about Jon's mother) and the other twin was taken elsewhere in a Star Wars like split up the twins.
Or maybe not. Sorry for the spelling errors.

That's (mostly) a very common theory referred to as R+L=J.

Lol. I just read the rest of thread. Didn't see it posted.

I concur Bran will be a player before this is all over. Remember Bran was a major theme in the first novel
Now my wife is making fun of me because I thought that theory I posted earlier was hers. Argh! Why didn't I just teas this thread first.

Bran is the very first main character we are introduced to, he is the one who introduces us to the Stark ways and the history of magic through Old Nan. Very important

Yeah, and Bran is a Stark family name that is continually a key element in their history
Holy moly that was an EXCELLENT episode. That ending though. Daenarys is such a boss.....
