Quote:Interesting. Great haul for the Titans, still think they could of got more, especially from going from 1 to 15, but that is a ton of fire power and unsettling for teams like us in their division. 6 picks in the first 3 rounds, yeeesh.

This almost guarantees the Jags will get either Ramsey, Bosa or Jack. So the silver lining is, good chance we get a top defender in this draft. Do not be so sure the Browns take a QB, especially with the Rams jumping them. Could be taking the guy the Browns want, Browns seem set on not being the Browns any more and actually doing things the right way. Read recently they want to shore up the O line, I believe Tunsil now is in prime position to be a Brown. If we get lucky, they Browns take a QB, but I'm thinking Tunsil is going to them.

1. QB of their choice

2. Tunsil

3. Ramsey

4. Jack

5. Bosa

I think the Jags land Bosa. May not be the most popular pick, but it fills a need and he is a good player, we shall see if he transitions to the pros well.
I'm still not sold on Cleveland going Tunsil, though there are arguments for and against that happening.
Is nobody else scared of how dominate the titans can be now?

Quote:One more thought. The Rams didn't have to move up to #1 to get the QB. They could have made a less expensive move to 2 if there was someone they really wanted. Unless they were afraid of someone else moving up to #1. That was an expensive move for the Rams. They better be sure about who they are taking.
Well maybe the Browns aren't trading the pick. You can't make a trade if one of the teams doesn't want to.

Wentz

Goff

Tunsil

Ramsey

Jack

Bosa

Thats going to be the first 6 picks of the draft. Book it.

They have to hit on those picks first.

If they regularly hit on their draft picks, they wouldn't have been in the position to trade the #1 pick to begin with.

That said, if they hit on Mariota last year, and they hit on at least half of the picks this year, they will be a much stronger team in the years to come.

I think at 15 they can go Taylor Decker or Conklin and put either at RT, or Eli Apple at CB.

Comes down to drafting and coaching. If anybody can mess this up, it's them. But, odds are they get some studs with some of those picks.

Not to mention, everyone is saying how weak this draft is.

If it was 2014....... Then yea, I'd be scared.

I think it increases the chances too be honest. They want to shore up their line. Their new coach I believe was quoted on saying that. I think it goes QB 1, Tunsil 2, and then its anyones guess. I doubt the Chargers go after Jack, but I think Ramsey, Buckner, Bosa are all in play. Not sure what Cowboys will do, seems like both Bosa and Jack could fit their defense. Same with the Jags.

I think the Jags will most likely be getting one of Jack or Bosa.

Tunsil is not going 2.

It's Goff.
I don't care if this makes the Tacks better as long as we are the best. This division needs to be tough. It challenges your team and sets you up for the best teams in the playoffs.

It's the reason why the Colts/Texans who have ruled the division in the past get slaughtered in the playoffs. You walk through an easy division and you forget what it's like playing against anyone else.

I'm happy with the trade.  Wouldn't surprise me if we make another trade to get back into the top 10.

Good haul for the titians. If this means Wentz/Goff go 1 and 2 then this is great news for us...

1) Wentz

2) Goff

3) Tunsil

4) Ramsey

5) Jack/Bosa

Smart move by the Titans. Tunsil is going to he really good, but this is what they needed to do.

that a fact? You have no idea of that. That would be a Browns type move though, take the QB just because.
Quote:Pretty damn jealous of the Titans right now.

I think with the Rams move this offseason, that 1st round pick the Titans just acquired could be a top 3 pick next year.
Way too talented on defense. They also had poor QB play last year and were the 15th pick. I highly doubt there in the top 5, they'll probably float around the .500 record unless whatever QB they choose can get them a little past that.
The difference to the Titans between Tunsil and Stanley is not that great.

Heck...Stanley could end up the better player.

I would not be surprised to see the Titans move back up a little to be assured of getting the next top OT

on their board all while keeping a couple picks "and" next years 1st rounder from the Rams.

Which could be a top 10 if they start a rookie QB.

Colllinsworth gets lots of hate but he got this right. If two qbs go, we should have a tough choice to make at 5 with so much talent available. It looks like at least two of the Big Three will be there: Jack, Bosa or Ramsey.

Time will tell. If guys like Tunsil, Ramsey and Jack end up as elite players, they better hit on the other picks.

lol scared?
They do this in a year when the QB crop isn't all that promising? Interesting. That's a ton of picks for the titans. It does put us in a better position for the 3's.

I'd hate to be the GM having to pick between Myles & Ramsey. Good problem to have, but damn...
