Like has been previously stated, I'm not getting all the celebrating by jags fans over this. Goff is not necessarily going to be the 2nd pick and if he isn't we could be looking at Tunsil being the BAP when we pick. I'd be ok with that I guess but I won't lie and say I wouldn't feel a little let down after all this Ramsey, Bosa, Jack talk the past few minutes nth so. The saving grace is that the tacks do seem to be a bit of a mess, but you'd think they'd have to be able to hit on one or two of these extra picks regardless. This trade could propel them into contention much faster than previously thought.
I don't see Cleveland passing on Goff especially when the talk of Goff to Cleveland started heating up a couple days ago. If Cleveland doesn't take Goff then I bet they trade down with a team who will. Either way I think the first two picks will be Wentz-Goff and then the next 3 will be Tunsil-Ramsey-Jack in that order.

If Goff / Wentz go 1-2, Tunsil is almost guaranteed to go to SD. Phillip Rivers has been getting killed back there and they will likely jump to protect their QB.

If Ramsey falls to us we could be offered a trade up.
If Ramsey falls to us we take him. If not we take Myles Jack. If they're both gone I'd consider trading down or taking Bosa.

Quote:Not to mention, everyone is saying how weak this draft is.

If it was 2014....... Then yea, I'd be scared.
Make no mistake about it.

Tennessee is in a very good position to get stronger.

They could get their RT at 15, and given the depth of DT in this class, they could finish building their DL, take a CB by the mid 2nd round, and still have two 3rd round picks for LBs.

But it isn't guaranteed.
Quote:One more thought. The Rams didn't have to move up to #1 to get the QB. They could have made a less expensive move to 2 if there was someone they really wanted. Unless they were afraid of someone else moving up to #1. That was an expensive move for the Rams. They better be sure about who they are taking.

When St. Louis called the teams in the top 5, they could probably tell who was sold on a player by how willing they were to move out of the top 5. They probably found that the Browns weren't all that willing and figured they'd have to move up to 1 to get their guy.
I could see SD taking Tunsil now.
Here is what I think 2017 AFC South standings look like

1, 2 Jaguars/Titans

3 Texans

4 Colts

I have the Colts finishing dead last in 2016 also

Definitely makes sense. Their line is terrible.
Quote:Is nobody else scared of how dominate the titans can be now?
No.

The Rams got 8 players (some really good ones too btw) in the RG3 trade and just traded for the 1st pick of the draft.

It could turn out really well for them obviously, but until then they're just another team.
Smart trade. They have 6 picks in the 1st 3 rounds. They could end up with 2 top 10 picks next year. They can load up on talent this draft and next draft. Hopefully they miss on some players.

Looks like we will be rooting for LA this year.

What do you think the Browns do now? I don't think they go with Goff. I'm actually thinking they select Bosa being from Ohio and all..
Great trade for the Titans. There is no consensus #1 pick. Bunch of pretty good players, but if you don't need a QB, you would want to trade down.
I don't think this trade is as big of a homerun hit as people are making it out. We've seen this happen plenty times now and it rarely seems to work. For one you have to turn those players into impact players and most of the time they just turn out being average or worse. Maybe it will be better for the Titans because they have their guy at QB.

What happens if Tunsil actually falls to 5.. Are we taking him? Very tough decision.

Trade down. Draft a CB. Eventually trade back up into the 1st round pick #22 to pick a QB.

Exactly. And an extra first next year....sheesh
1. Wentz

2. Ramsey

3. Tunsil

4. Bosa/Jack

5. Bosa/Jack

The Browns need help everywhere so if they go QB when they have Griffin makes no sense. I would personally take the best DB in the draft but you know it's the Browns you never know.

Also I could see Titans trading up for the OT from ND. They have enough ammunition to do whatever they wish.
