Quote:Trump appeals to the lowest common denominator and lowest possible IQ. It is beyond my powers of comprehension how he appeals to anyone thinking rationally.

In other words, you're butthurt because your candidate is prolly sitting at a measly low percentage.
Quote:Because those educated folk with liberal arts degrees tend to not support Trump. Meanwhile those backwards blue collars who specialize in "tradeskills" do. This is just blasphemous to the intelligentsia.

Good thing it has long been proven that educated != intelligent.

I suggest everyone who still can't understand Trump watch this video before further commenting.

I'm about as backwoods blue collar as it gets. I'm telling you trump is fools gold. What he says now is not what he has said or done before, he's pulling off the biggest hoodwink in politics since GW ran as a conservative.

RJ is a democrat their in a one horse race anyway

Figures he's on Team Hillary
Quote:The GOP needs a centrist, while the Democrats are free to elect far-left Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton?

No. Donald Trump has shifted the Overton window to the right. The Democrats are going to get roasted in the nationals unless they start moving towards the center. Hell, you look at the trash Bernie and Hillary spew on twitter you would think we were living in social paradise Sweden.

Where did I say the Dems are fine with far left candidates?

Agreed...but are you taking RJs position that Trump being the " gold" standard is only thought as such by " fools"?

Just playing with words Eric. But I do concur. Trump is so full of hot air, he is truly a one man contributor to global warming.

He wouldnt be CEO of the US, and having to deal with Congress, advisors, etc etc.and not having it his way scares me somewhat. All fluff, no substance. But when one banks on people's fears and anxieties... He makes sense to those. Hence is leading in polls.

I'll bet anyone right now... If Trump and Hillary square off ( I'm not a fan of either) , she beats him. But that's a ways away, so we will see what shakes out

Figures someone on Team Trump wouldn't waste time pondering why this may not be true. Accepting generalities and stereotypes is much easier.

For the record, I don't support any candidate at this time, and the only ones with which I would be comfortable as POTUS are among the Republicans at the back of their pack.

FTFY.

Trump would need to verify the long form birth certificate first.

I want to see the papers on that alien living on Trump's dome.

Perhaps I was too harsh with the "low IQ" comment, as there are Trump supporters posting here who seem to be reasonable and thoughtful otherwise. Not all, but some. Still, I have a hard time understanding how anyone who is serious could support him

And then Trump resigns.

Leave it to a pot headed democrat who prolly has less brain cells left than fingers he has, to call out others for having a "Low IQ" because they don't share his democratic opinion..

Just sayin, if he's going to label people, there's many labels I can name for him..
Edit..double post

Trump has international love as well...Putin says " he's brilliant, talented". " strongest candidate out there"

And we know that's a huge endorsement to those who look up to Vlad , some right here on this MB

Trump says he'd help Putin build a wall in Ukraine ( ok...that's conjecture, but who knows)

You were. There are plenty of brilliant people who lack common sense or vision. It's usually through fear, anxiety, desperation, personal agendas or dislikes, and so on.

It works both ways, hence many of us getting warnings and suspensions here due to politics. I should know. That, and religion.

People are desperate. Trump says what they want to hear ( my problem is, can he deliver? ). People truly are tired of PC ness.

But..Trump is slowly learning the political world. He's schmoozing more now.

We can't prove anything now..but I'm willing to bet he can't do what he's promising. Who does, but his agendas are out there.

Fiorina shoots from the hip... Naming Generals who she would relate to..all gone because they told Obama what he didn't want to hear...yet one was hired to run the CIA before he was caught with his pants down and another didn't even work during BOs tenure.

Actually, Paul was reasonable, but he's unelectable.

We can debate all year, but if the GOP candidates do what they're doing and continue in their circular firing squad, as much as they all tried slamming Clinton, their other actions are paving the way for her.

If Trump is the nominee,IMO, the Republican party, with it's splintered groups will implode.

In fact Bush has announced he may jump ship if Trump is the nominee

Damn, we need a viable third party

Really? Where would he go? Democrats?
