I'm sorry. Did Obama stutter??

Sentence structure is hard to grasp for some, isn't it?
Quote:Trying to watch people explain away the hateful rhetoric as being anything other than what it is or that the people supporting him are supporting him for other reasons despite the hate are as amusing as watching people try to explain how Carson has any business being in the race.

There's nothing wrong with hateful rhetoric that it should need explaining. Hating is not wrong when you hate the right things; Islamic radicalism is a worthy target and we must do whatever it takes to defeat it.

I suppose so, but keep trying at it and don't give up..
I listened to that Obama record backwards. The Muslim thing is just the tip of the iceberg. Wink

What percentage of the Islamic faith would you say is radical?
Quote:What percentage of Muslims would you say are radical?

First you must ask "How do you define Radical Islam?"
Quote:What percentage of the Islamic faith would you say is radical?

20% by some estimates, 100% by others. Knowing several practicing Muslims myself I would say the smaller number is accurate but the total number world wide makes 20% a scary number.

Pretty easy, those who demand submission to Islam and willing to kill others for infidelity.

Pretty much sums it up.

So... somewhere between 340 million and 1.7 billion people?

Yep, depending on who you ask. Is there a point to the question?
Where do you get these numbers from.. just curious. Are they straight from your sphincter or did you pull them from someone else's?

I assume Muslims were polled. It makes me wonder how the questions were framed. If 20% of all Muslims are truly radicalized and willing to kill infidels, you'd think we'd have experienced more than 9 attacks within our borders since 9/11.

When the replies are of the "I know you are, but what am I" variety, I realize a knife has been brought to a gun fight.

Enjoy your man Trump.

Thanks.

Mostly it's because we're fighting them there instead of here, but don't mistake their hesitation in attacking us here for ineffectiveness.

For instance, short list for a 2 month period last year:

I'm sorry. What section of the 226 page document am I supposed to be looking at that says 20 to 100% of Islamic people are "radical"?

Again, comes back down to what you consider "radical". Personally, I believe that Muslims who believe Sharia should be the "Law of the Land" are radical and should not be allowed in the United States. Here are those percentages from the document. The below percentage is easily above 20%, probably close to 40-50% of the world Muslim population.

I consider anyone who believes that a certain compilation of stories from the dark ages should be the guiding light behind our government to be radical, but I've never advocated kicking that huge group of Americans out.

You can't play favorites with religion. Sorry. That's how a free country works.
