Lol gee whaddaya know, FBT is getting absolutely crushed again.
Quote:There's no point in providing anything substantive where you're concerned.  If you can't see it already, you're obviously not smart enough to grasp it if someone points it out to you.

If you think being recognized for your ignorance is a badge of honor, good for you. It's not often someone is willing to embrace their ineptitude.
This entire post is a complete contradiction of itself.
Quote:Literally the only improvement is the passing game.  Defense is worse.  Running game is nonexistent.  Special Teams is terrible.  Passing is the only improvement.  Unfortunately, it is inconsistent.  Which is an improvement over consistently terrible the last 3 years.

The defense has been decimated by injuries, and they've hit key players.  When your best defensive lineman and your best LB miss playing time due to injury, and your starting LEO goes on the IR with a blown out knee, and you've got one DB after another getting hurt, what are you expecting exactly?

At least you're acknowledging the improvement in the passing game.  Some here aren't smart enough to stumble across that.

Lol there's no point because you can't think of anything.

Just say it man, you have no clue what you speak of.

The way you are going after FBT....

you have to be TMD
Good to see the king of fence riding is here offering up the usual.

Gus is a bad head coach. Approaching historically bad. He's shown week after week that he struggles come game day. Yet some still wait for progress.

I commend you for your patience. Keep waiting.

Should we not wait?

Should we fire him ourselves?

I don't really understand what people want from the sect of fans that are mature enough, mentally and emotionally, to handle professional sports.

We have little to no control over who is hired, why they are hired, who is fired, who is signed, etc...

Yet it is like you all WANT us to ALSO fill the board with your nonsensical drivel.

Why?
Quote:This is pure gold, even from you FBT.  How was the reality completely different?  Seriously, answer the question.

We got BLOWN OUT in a game our coach called a measuring stick game.  That's reality.  You are seriously delusional.
The fact that you folks embrace coach speak as gospel is comical.  It was a measuring stick game because Gus said it was.  The team got blown out by the defending champions and arguably one of the best teams in the league for the past 15 years, and people are latching on to what Gus said.  Does it make you feel better to say it was absolutely a measuring stick game, and the team got blown out?  Does that make you happy?

Answer my question.  What were you REALLY expecting from that game?  Considering how poorly this team matched up against the Patriots, tell me what you were expecting.  I was expecting a blowout loss. I wasn't expecting much going into Foxboro against a team that is on a mission following an off season of questions about how they win.  If you were expecting the Jags to leave New England with a win because of what Gus said, who is the delusional one here?

How about next man up, quit the injury excuse?  All teams deal with them.  We couldn't stop the Patriots offense a single time.  They scored everytime they touched the ball in a game the coach and the team referred to as a measuring stick game.  No excuses, they suck.

Good lord... Am I TMD?

You keep proving my point. You have nothing to offer to this discussion other than the gurgling snorts of a slobbering imbecile.

Seriously?  There are how many guys on an NFL roster?  You're expecting the depth to be starter caliber from top to bottom?  Show me an NFL roster that has sustained as many injuries as this team has this year, particularly on defense, who is able to maintain top tier results.  I'll wait. Look at where teams are exploiting our defense, and then look at the roster of injuries.  It's pretty self explanatory why the defense has struggled.

The best team in the NFL scored on every drive.  Shocker.

It wasn't just Gus, it was the players, the other coaches, the local media, the fans.  Everyone.

What was i really expecting?  To see any signs of improvement, the same reason everyone was excited for the test.  What happened in reality?  THEY SCORED EVERYTIME THEY TOUCHED THE BALL!!!  Give me a break.

You just make that last sentence up to take a jab?  Hell no i didn't think we were going to win, but i'm sure not going to dismiss it as "not reality".

The injury excuse really does ring hollow when you look at our opponent this week.

Am i expecting depth to be starting caliber from top to bottom?  Where do you even come up with this stuff.

And yes it absolutely was a shocker they scored on everydrive, are you freakin serious?  That doesn't happen in the NFL.

I dunno...

I hope for your sake you're not.

That dude was a sad sack of skin....

Quote:Buuwwwaaaaa. This is so stupid it's funny. I'm sorry.........Wow.

LOL, thanks...

I knew I'd hear some flack for saying this...  But I don't care anymore.  Gus is a players coach.  He has instilled into this team that the process is what matters, not winning.  I just wonder if this soft mentality leads to some "injuries" that wouldn't show up on a team with a more hard nosed coach?

Think it's dumb if you wish.  But it's clear this team is mentally soft.  That may result in some "injuries" that a mentally tougher team may play through.

Again, you can laugh.  It's clearly not a statement that I can support with facts, but it's something that I have thought about recently because of this joke of a HC.

MORAL VICTORY!  Gus must've not wanted to disturb the punter having a peaceful day on the bench.

But, wait, it's not even reality according to FBT.

I'm not mature enough? Good to know

Marcedes comments showed us an insight, a slight insight, into the mantra Gus and crew are feeding them.

That attitude is like a disease and it needs to be controlled.

The team is in a tough spot. You don't want to fire Gus mid year. It doesn't look good. But you can't continue to let that disease infect the young, talented players. I don't care that it's infected Marcedes. He isn't the future here. It's guys like Bortles, Hurns, Robinson etc that I'm more concerned with.
