How about doing your job and merging it with the other threads?

LOL, entitlement generation? Get out of here with that mularkey. Expecting a team that has had 3 years to rebuild and has actually acquired talent to beat weaker opponents is a result of the entitlement generation? There is no entitlement to think we should be beating a Luckless clot team that was on the ropes, a horrible rookie QB that was a turnover machine, and a tin horn team that had only 1 WR and a QB that was cut by the browns. The browns!!!

The term "entitled" doesn't even apply in this situation.

Keep that political junk in the political threads. It has no relevance here in the world of NFL football.

FBT's minion army will stop at nothing, lol.

He has an army?  Is there a civil war brewing?  Who is on the right side of history?  Man, this could get ugly...  Wait, can we at least list the captains of each army?  And is this captains pick or do we apply?
I'm not on the fire now bandwagon. I'm on the let the season finish bandwagon.

I'm not really sold on the improvement though. Yes, we have played the last three games close, but these are teams that will finish with a top ten draft pick (Indy with Hasselbeck included). I would hope we could play other crappy teams close or else we would be on a whole different level of suckiness.

Had we played Green Bay, Cincinnati, and Arizona and lost all three but played them close then I would feel we are improved. As it is though, we should have at least went 2-1 in the last three games.

I think the New England game is closer to the true representation of the quality of this team.

If this is progress?????
rofl I had more hope for this team/organization the last at the 6th game mark over the last 3 seasons than I did this season

at least back then we had hope gus might get it together

It's a view of patience and rosy future, but I need to see more progress by the end of the season, than what I have seen thus far to adopt a similar view.

Bingo. We are playing close and losing to some of the worst teams in the league.
The article title should read: "Jags show promise despite being led by NFL's most incompetent coach."

People are sheep. You realize that a big part of why our offensive stats look so great on paper is because we are losing every single game and play against prevent defenses late in games right??? Look at our running game.. one of the worst in the league when you take out our QBs rushing.. zero rushing tds.. a good offense can do both and doesnt pad its stats late in games when it doesnt matter. During the first 3 quarters it is much of the same... stuck below 14 points

Dude stop... this "garbage time stats" excuse is about as lame as the injury excuse for why we aren't performing.

Bortles has played very well in the first half of games, there is proof.

We all know about our SECOND HALF STRUGGLES which is where garbage time is played.

Let me finish that sentence for you: "...but still in games with a chance to win."

What comes after the first 3 quarters is nothing but an indictment on the coach(es) imo. It is not any tangible proof that the team has no/lesser talent.
The article makes some valid points with regards to the offense. It has progressed. But the overall team has not. We should be 3-3, possibly 4-2 right now (I truly believe). Because of coaching, we are not. Yes, the players on the field executed the losses, but the coaching staff (I think) did not put the right plays/players in to get it done.

That's just my opinion though...

GO JAGS!!

Article was pointless. Most of the folks over there now are self described and appointed "Fantasy Leauge" guru's and somehow eye popping stats and fantasy points mean this team or that team are better than we think they are. It's been pointed out. But this team is still terrible. 1 - 5 is terrible. It's the same process we've seen now over the last six years from the front office. Garbage in, garbage out.

Sure, Bortles has great passing numbers. Sure, he's got a 2:1 TD/INT ratio. What's NOT being said is just how NASTY those interceptions have been this year. He's thrown a pair of pick sixes this year which when you look at the final score resulted in the difference between either having a tied game or the lead. He's thrown another pair or a trio of interceptions just before half-time or inside the redzone leaving more points on the field or swinging the momentum to the opponent. With that said. I am hopeful. He's a lot better this year than he was last year. If the offense was balanced he'd be better. He's still our franchise QB in my eyes. Something we've been dying to say around here for nearly a decade.

The defense is just pathetic. No pass rush. Inconsistent secondary play BECAUSE of that very same lack of pass rush. And I don't know why it's an issue. I really don't. We didn't lose any of the personnel that helped our sack totals from last year. If anything, we added to it with Skuta and Odrick. Marks just got back. So I can understand somewhat of a lack up the middle. But where is Clemons and Davis at? Branch? Smith? We need to see something off the edge and it's just not there. You have to look at the coaching staff for that in my opinion.

All of the issues this team has had this year literally starts up front. The front four on defense is terrible. The offensive lineman are very inconistent in pass protection, especially in run blocking. No running game to take pressure off your QB and no lanes for the RB to squeeze through as well. We've had maybe one significant setback in Linder going on IR but even the beginning of the year when he was in the line-up we still struggled. You brought in Doug Marone to help get the lineman shored up. Still not seeing that pay dividends.

It's year three. Bradley is 8 - 30 headed into this game against BUF in London. I expected 7 - 9, maybe 8 - 8 this year but we're looking at enother 3 - 13 or 4 - 12 record. Talent is here on this team. Coaching is the hindering factor here. No halftime adjustments, you're just now seeing House being offered up as the first sacrificial lamb to cover Gus' hide for one week and there will be more down the road I am sure now. But these are guys you lobbied for during the off-season and this is your team now by all accounts. You have very few Gene Smith leftovers on this roster.

Just don't know how many more excuses the inside and outside media outlets and a few people of this oblivious fanbase can possibly come up with now...
The folks who rationalize for this franchise should go to work for Hilary Clinton...

As much as I have hated losing and called for Bradley's firing, this simply isn't true. Our offense has been stalling in the second while looking good in the first.

At halftime, games are close. We aren't padding stats; the numbers are legit.
Good article atleast, but it reads to me as if he feels sorry for us... or he's a Titans fan. One of those.
I love the people that say stuff like " blah blah blah get your pitchforks".

Do you know how long you've been saying things like that?

Good thing you're not a Jets/ Eagle/ Packers fan.
We are showing progress, look at our games from the last 2 years to this year, we just have to win, but now we have legit QB, WRs, TE, RB

You contradicted yourself above. Said garbage in and garbage out and same as it's been the past 6 years. Then say we have talent to win. We haven't had talent over the last 6 years nor a potential franchise QB. Also, what are fans oblivious to, the ones you speak of?
