A lot of you are misdirecting your anger. Bortles isn't the problem. This defense might be the worst in franchise history. They have zero pass rush and no playmakers at all on that side of the ball. The offense is improving and is still in a growth pattern that trends well for the next year or two but this defense is taking a nosedive.

The ignorance on this board is OVERwhelming. Bortles is legit. The kid is gonna be a top 5 QB in this league for 10-15 years. He's already on pace for top 5 in passing yards and TDs in the NFL. For people saying Bortles has the WRs......maybe Bortles is making the WRs better. Age 22 and he's gonna have 2 - 1,000 yard WRs.....I don't think that's ever happened in NFL history.

You claim the defense is to blame for 14 points that turned the game around, well you forget the 7 points Blake gave to Texans in the 2nd quarter with his interception at the goal line. When we are down by 10 in the 4th you make up some statistic that we only had a 5% probability to come back, so the pick 6 didn't matter. It's a bunch of excuses.
The bottom line, we didn't win, and the QB did nothing spectacular to help the cause, we had a chance to get way ahead, Blake throws a pick, we are down by 10 blake throws another pick.
The man had a bad game, he also had numerous overthrows as well.

I'll save you some time. David Garrard LITERALLY NEVER WAS ASKED TO THROW THE BALL 50 TIMES. The most he ever had to throw was 45 times and his offense put up a whopping 12 points.

Padding stats while the team continuously gets blown out by the NFL bottom feeders impresses no one. He has been getting extremely lucky on a lot of plays and the padded stats don't accurately reflect just how mediocre he has been.
