The stupidity on this board...

We've won, what, 9 games in the past 3 season combined and now we're demanding a blow out?  Please, time for a reality check!

Just want that W. Whether by 30 or by 1

No one said it needs to be a "blow-out". We need a convincing win against a backup QB in a divisional game, and an injured Luck as well. Getting stomped by the Colts will show we have made no improvements to this team and are nowhere near ready to compete for the AFC South. This division is so weak, and for the first time in awhile the Colts aren't miles ahead.

Exactly.  I would even be satisfied with a 3-0 win.
Will Jag fans be mad if Matt Hasselbeck does this after every TD throw?

If you aren't disappointed after that you must be drunk on teal flavored koolaid ice cream that Gus is serving out to the team you sheep

I said nothing about getting stomped by the colts, i said i just want a win.  So demanding a 10 point win to be satisfied makes sense to you?  When did this fan base become so delusional?  We just lost 51-17, sorry if i'm just hoping for a win.  We've proven no where near competitive enough to demad blow outs or "convincing wins".  Just win, please.
Quote:What if we lose to a Matt Hasselbeck led offense? That has to be the end of Gus, right?

It should be. But you will have the teal kool aid drinkers on here bringing up all types of excuses to justify why Gus should still be here.
Here is the thing. A win is a win, correct. Leading the AFCS after the 1st quarter of the season is a success no matter how bad our division is.

Having said that, while a win is exciting, having to kick a 50 yard FG as time expires to beat a team with a backup QB doesn't give you a warm and fuzzy about a team that is supposedly "built" and their future.

A hard fought game against the Colts with Luck playing would be great. I'd be happy with any type of win, but I don't think I'll be too thrilled about barely winning against Hasselbeck. No one will know if we're good enough to beat the Colts, or if we won just because Luck wasn't playing. Beating them convincingly would shoot down those thoughts and Luck wouldn't have changed the final outcome.

The Patriots are going back to the Super-Bowl this year and are ahead of almost every team in the NFL. They're currently in a league of their own and will be punishing the rest of the AFC South this year.

We just got torched to the tune of 51-17.  I think the whole notion of "being built" needs to go away for awhile.  We've got the schedule ahead of us to maybe take some baby steps.  Hopefully we can string together a few wins, by how many points i don't care.  Sure it'd be great to be blowing teams out, but to be disappointed in a W in the state this franchise has been stuck in for so long is just silly.

I'd love a blowout but will be just fine with any type of win.  We're still talking about the Jaguars, right?  I feel like this is the twighlight zone!

I once heard someone say you are never as good or bad as you looked last week. That game got out of hand quickly.

Some of you guys are hilarious. Already discounting a hypothetical win in game that's two days away.

No kidding.  It's as if we haven't learned about inflated expectations around here.
Pagano: Andrew, we cant let you play this week.

Yup. I think that's why he stated that.
