I really wish we could have started the season with the same schedule as the Raiders. I think we would be hearing a different tune about this team. Bengals, Ravens, Browns and Bears is so much easier than Panthers, Fins, Pats and Colts.

Carr and Cooper are getting a lot of praise but I would like to see them play the schedule we have and see if they would still be 2-1.

And they got smoked by the Bengals.
Quote:Agreed. Blaine had elite talent. Nobody could throw a 5 yard out straight into the dirt at the level Blaine could.

Come on, man. Have you completely forgotten the level of suck that dude was?

No That's my point not only did Blaine stink terrible but his team stunk too, and yet our #3 pick QB numbers aren't significantly better than Blaine's with better talent. However everyone has this amazing confidence in him to be a Franchise QB.
Quote:Yeah those blaine gabbert beautiful passes to Will tafauauau were great to watch. I especially loved how they would gain a whopping 3 yrds. Man those were pretty.

Blake Bortles amazing pick 6's are a phenomenal sight to see as well. I also love how he can't throw a fade pass to a WR in the redzone and the way he locks in on ARob when he's double covered. Amazing talent that Blake Bortles...

<div>This is the song that doesn't end
It just goes on and on, my friend
Some people started singing it
Not knowing what it was
And they just keep on singing it forever
Just because this is the song that never ends
It just goes on and on, my friend

I wish they will ban you

I wish they would too but the truth hurts brother, no matter what you think of me Bortles still sucks and we will be drafting another QB in 2 years

Not half as bad as you suck...

Are you talking about the same Blaine Gabbert that struggled to average 200 yds passing/game?

Who one hopped passes all over the place?

Who saw ghosts in the pocket?

Who was injury prone?

Yeah, Blake totally remind me of Blaine.

This board never ceases to amaze me...
Quote:All I know is that if we end up firing the coaching staff and Blake has to learn a 3rd offense in 3 years, he's going to be pretty much ruined. Has there ever been a successful QB who had to learn mutiple offenses at this early of a stage in their careers? If we fire the coaching staff we need to look for a new QB in the draft.

Successful?

He had 6 coordinators in 8 years, iirc @ SF. Was never really successful until....

He has a really solid (not great) year and then is injured and then is shipped off to KC.

And while he has shared some success in KC... it is mostly been on the shoulders of a very good D that is being wasted with a QB that has been game manager at best in his career.

I would say, 99.1% of the time, multiple changes in coaching staffs hurt more than they help.

How many actual football plays are there?

What changes is tendencies (which players get used to) and verbage (which players get used to)

Change it up every season and you have players thinking more than playing.

Bortles isn't great right now. But anyone who expected him to be after 16 starts is stupid. STUPID!

Can he be great? I think so... I think he could be a top 10 QB for his entire career.

Let's not rush him off to the bust zone... and let's keep his coaches around for a bit and see...

IF this regime ends up being a failure, I'd rather them all get wiped out after 5 years, instead of slowly ripping pieces off and trying to glue new ones in.

Come back around here Monday after he smokes the Colts D, brother.

OK I make a promise to all Jag fans on this board. If Blake Bortles Completes 64% of his passes throws for 4 TD and 0 Interceptions and 330 yards next game you will never hear from me again.

How about if he has a good game you go away for a week?  Well, i guess you pretty much did that after Miami so we know your type.

Yeah you're right. I'm not sure why he even considers himself a fan. I'm not sure he will ever post anything remotely positive about the team

He wants to be the new TMD. Some people just have loftier life goals than the rest of us.

So is it the receivers or Blake? Pick one, because this gif does not support the ear piercing whine coming from C.O.D. sucker.
