Saying the right things has never been an issue here.

I think the point is that in prior years they could understand mistakes and mental errors because the team was made up of a ton of rookies. Can't really use that excuse this season. Now is the time for them to show they can function on both sides of the ball.
Great talker, poor head coach.

Hey Gus, maybe it's your fault too !

Tweet from Michael DiRocco (@ESPNdirocco) - Sounds like Gus Bradley feels good about potentially getting WR Marqise Lee back for Sunday. #Jaguars http://espn.go.com/espn/now?nowId=21-043...52787773-4

Very good news to hear about Marks and Lee.
Nobody else is bothered that Bradley and Olson aren't on the same page offensively? After firing Fisch for that very thing.

Lol, I commented ealier in this thread, he's taking a jab at his OC. Last thing we want at this stage, internal disputes...implosion.

Surely, we need big plays. They'll get it together.
It is going to be difficult to pass aggressively down field.  Those take about 3+ seconds.  The replacement left tackle only provides 1.5 seconds for the QB to operate.

Maybe he is talking about the way players were cautious. Not about the playcalling.

Gus appeared to be pissed off.  You can tell he was expecting a much better showing out of the team.  This gives me hope that we are able to preform at a much higher level.

As I said on the first page, Bradley should know the plays being called early on in the game before the game actually happens. I'm pretty sure that comment was directed at Blake and the rest of the offense. Blake was tentative and it seemed like most of his downfield throws were closer to throwaways than to actual passes. You can't really expect to keep the defense honest when you're not pushing the ball downfield and that really hurts us because we're a run first team. They seemed to be playing not to lose rather than to win yesterday.
That's good news about Lee and Marks.  Hopefully Greene can pass his test to play next week too.

I'm happy to hear about Marks and Lee; I just hope we aren't rushing them (mostly Marks).

GO JAGS!

I get ya. He was nervous early for sure, rushing all his throws. Can't blame him if he doesn't trust the line. They warrant that. Aren't we on pace for am 80 sack year? Hey, that's more than last year. #Progress

Seriously, get better lads. We are behind you, always.
So Gus Whats the Scoop?

Gus:  I was thinking

To Tuxedo, that is
Dude, no sprinkles. Fail.

Ah, self correction. Sprinkles are for winners.
He's feeling the heat,
Im actually glad he acknowledged them playing cautiously. Hopefully next week they play more aggressively.
Do you think there is a guy on staff that helps coaches, players, etc. make these canned statements with carefully chosen words, or do you think they're just trained to answer this way during the offseason?
