I'm one of the few on here that doesn't mind Gus, the team plays hard for him and buys into the process he's selling. Gus is hampered by a incredibly raw QB and a receiving core that can't consistently separate from even mediocre defensive backs, the Jags problem at receiver will rear it's ugly head as the season goes along, we'll see press man coverage with a safety in the box to help defend the run, we'll see that until one of these receivers beats a defensive back over the top.

Young and Henne, good enough to make the 53. Only in Jax

They're asking for waaaaaaay too much patience, and the fans shouldn't be asked to tolerate that, I'm sorry.
After Tampa (a 3rd straight road game, BTW), we have:
Texans (when has this ever been an easy game for us?)
Bills in London (if that defense sans Dareus can do what they did to the Colts, what could they do to us?)
bye
at NY Jets (perhaps an equally nightmarish defense for our offense as the Bills)
at Baltimore
vs. Tennessee (will Mariota have come back to earth by then, or will he have proven to be some QB prodigy?_
vs. San Diego (maybe, maybe if they have officially announced the relocation to Los Angeles by this time, the team will go into shock like 1995 Cleveland. If not, they have Phillip Rivers and Co, who always seems to give us hell)
at Tennesssee (see above)
Indy
Atlanta
at New Orleans
at Texans
We could easily be talking 0-8 or worse.

How is the incompetence of the Jags offense Gus's fault? Gus didn't select Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Luke Joeckel, and a guy made out of glass in Marqise Lee.

Basically, you are saying, We'z Gauna Diez?

Hindsight is 20/20 but the Jags offense would look dynamic if they had selected Mike Evans, Sammy Watkins, Odell Beckham etc... and traded back up into the 1st round for Bridgewater, or simply waited on a guy like Marcus Mariota (who looks like the real effin deal), he's hamstrung by a raw QB and receivers that don't separate.

The buck stops with the head coach, end of story. Good ol' uncle Gus is a good guy, but the wins and losses fall on him.

To Bullseye, sorry
.
We'll survive. Let's go lads. It's a battle of wits sometimes. At some point, you're simply going to grow a set and go take it. They will not be 0-8.

I respect your opinion but disagree, the losses fall on the offenses inability to move the ball consistently, which falls on offensive personnel more than anything,

If we're sitting here talking 0-8, we'll be doing so with an interim head coach. At the very least, the Tampa game should be an easy win for this team. If they can't muster one there, it's done.

They fired Fisch, and replaced the entire offensive coaching staff. It's WEEK ONE. Eventually that will sink in.
