Thank you, Blake and receivers still not in sync. That's a big factor.

Well they have only played 2 preseason games, and a combined 2 1/2 quarters.

That's more than enough to panic over clearly.

I agree to a point. Other teams have produced far better in the same amount of time. But sticking to our team the offense is not where it needs to be. I think Bradley's proclamation that it's further along than anticipated is misleading. Because if we're only supposed to take baby steps then he's right. But if we're talking comparable to other nfl offenses than were nowhere close.

Leave the thread your not contributing to it.
They're starting to click on offense, and I get the feeling they will once you have Yeldon to boost their running game and Julius Thomas to boost their red zone efficiency. Keep in mind that Julius has inked 12 TDs in each of the past two seasons.

I urge both sides to calm down.  The sky is falling crowd and the Bortles for league MVP.

It's preseason so hard to know what it will be like when the real shots are fired coming next month.

In 2012, I had the same amount of NFL touchdowns as Marcedes Lewis.

The Jaguars still haven't contacted me with a contract offer.

There's nothing worth contributing to this thread unless you're starting a GoFundMe account to help pay for remedial ed classes.

One would hope that when other players are healthy the production would go up. However this is a great opportunity for this offense to grow. I see some nice things here and there but don't you agree that there is quite a bit lacking. as a unit. It's too messy. I will say the run portion of the offense is greatly improved. And maybe that's what Bradley is talking about. But the passing side yet has a ways to go.

Let's talk football. If not shut up.

No one here has specified bortles as a problem. We're talking overall offense. It's just that some here think they know everything. No one should ever question anything. It's all good just wait and see. There's such a great track record.

Harbor was wide open on a crossing route and dropped the ball. That has nothing to do with them not being in sync. Same with Hurns. Bortles could not have made a better throw on either play. They just dropped it.

Again that is a big factor. Drops were a problem last year and it seems to be trending the same way. These guys have to start catching the ball. Can these guys flip a switch come regular season? I expect the wrs to make the easy catch. Hurns dropped a well placed ball. He was double covered and maybe he was distracted. But he's had this problem before.

But it has nothing to do with them being "in sync", as you tried to say.

I can say that drops are the receiver not having total focus therefor not being in sync. But there have been some mis reads and errant routes that says they are not in sync as a passing offense.

This is the most in sync I've seen this offense since David Garrard.  Everyone agrees we need to score TD's instead of field goals and receivers need to start catching the ball.  No one is debating that.  What people are seeing is a lot of progress.  We typically went 3 and out.  Now we are putting 10 play drive after 10 play drive and moving the ball down field.  Those are good things.  The scheme is working.  And Bortles is making throws in tight windows.  The opportunities are there.  Now we have to take advantage of them.  But again, this is not what you said TC.  You started the thread about the game stats using 2nd and 3rd stringers to make your argument.   Only amateur fans look at game stats to evaluate how their team is doing in the preseason.  The same fans who are upset when we lose a preseason game.
