Quote:I agree with you to an extent. I personally don't mind a politician (or anyone for that matter) expressing themselves in a way that reveals their faith. As far as I'm concerned, that's just one more factor that goes into determining the person's character (for me personally). As long as that particular faith is not being "pushed onto me".

At the risk of tip-toeing on the CoC of the board I will say this. I do find it odd that many seem to kind of "shun" people of faith. From what I know regarding several different religions, the principles taught are not necessarily a bad thing.

From what I've seen, many are starting to shun faith, as it's supposed to be kept out of politics anyway..

There's that whole separation from church and state thing..
Dems version of compromise is Pubs agreeing with them

As if the opposite weren't true.
As Jon Stewart leaves the air, we have the GOP debates anchored by The Donnie Boy. There is a comedy god

Rand Paul and Christie..lol...you can go hug Obama some more. Nah,nah, nah.

Rand Paul to the Donnie...He's hedging his bets. He may run with Clinton

Rubio..Hillary can't talk to me about living pay check to paycheck...we lived paycheck to paycheck. Welcome to the world Marco, and oh, I don't think she will ask you that question.

Now, I hear Fox won't put Donnie back on their network. True? Something about Maygun Kelly?

Gold.pure gold.
Ah,yes. He was banned, but not from Fox apparently. Hannity still swells from his presence. Trump was uninvited from the RedState Gathering late on Friday after saying in a CNN interview that Fox News’s Megyn Kelly “had blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever”, while questioning him during Thursday night’s debate.

Really ? And they call this the RedState Gathering?

Stewart...you retired a few weeks too early.
Yeah, I think Don's tiff with Kelly and his Red State banning is gonna help him with the crazy section of the GOP.  I'm interested in seeing how Morning Joe handles this.  Both Minka and Joe are all up on Donnie's rear end...

Minka and Joe? Sure. But they don't hold a candle to Hannity. He's in an awkward position now as what to do about his mancrush on The Don, yet defend his co worker.

The ban is going to fire up his base even more and may attract more... And strengthen his position on running independent. They poked the bear.

He says he meant her 'nose'.

People can decide for themselves if that's what they think he meant or not.
Trump is the perfect Manchurian candidate he's going to gift Hillary this election. I'm starting to believe that was the reason for his Running in the first place.

You can say that again.
I tried to give Donald Trump the benefit of the doubt going into this debate.  For both me and my wife, he totally turned both of us off with his demeanor both during and after the debate.  Some are criticizing FOX News as "going after" him, but that's not true.  They asked tough questions to all of the candidates, questions that would come up in the actual race.

They tried to pit Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush against one another knowing that a) they are good friends and b) they both are from Florida.  To their benefit, neither one took the bait.

They asked Ted Cruz about his conflict(s) with the current establishment, and he stuck to his guns.

People are looking at this from an "entertainment" point of view rather than listening to each candidate's ideas and watching how they handle pressure.

I love how megyn played such the hurt little princess because trump said he might have a reason to be not so nice to her.

Who drudges up old tweets to frame the question the way she did?
How come I'm not surprised that jj would be a trump apologist?

I don't know that Megyn Kelly really "played" anything.  Much like football, go back and look at the tape, in this case at the 10:33 mark.  She asked a valid question which Trump never really answered totally.  However, I will say that I liked his remark about Rosie O'Donnell.  I also agree with him regarding political correctness.

Next question was from Chris Wallace, and I like his followup asking Trump again to simply answer the question.  This is at the 23:42 mark.

Next question came from Bret Baier at the 42:59 mark.

Next question comes at around the 1:04:25 mark asked by Chris Wallace again, this one about his financial dealings.  This is one of those times where I describe my view of him as a "mob boss".  He's up there openly stating how he "took advantage of current laws to make money", and he justifies it by stating that "others have done the same thing".

Next question comes from Megyn Kelly at the 1:16:30 mark regarding abortion and him turning from being a democrat to a republican.

Next question again is asked by Bret Baier at around the 1:24:20 mark regarding the Iran deal that the Obama administration regime is pushing.

I fail to see where Megyn Kelly did anything wrong.  Donald Trump was unhappy because he was challenged.
1.) im not an apoligist.

2.) this coming from a guy who thinks bernie sanders is serious about finding solutions

Only when Trump was talking Tongue
What is interesting to me is watching some of the comments made after the debate.  Two people that I would have thought might have been "against" Donald Trump are actually "cheering" for him in a way.  Those two people are Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham.  Both are pretty "hard right" and you would think that they would be all "rah rah" over Jeb Bush (which they were to some extent).  I'm very surprised that they both came out defending Trump after the debate, and this was on FOX News.

I'm hoping that D6 decides to comment regarding the debate as he is a self identified conservative and offers a rational point of view.

Not saying I'm a big Rosie fan. But attacking/ belittling a private citizen...meaning not a competitive political figure...is not very becoming of someone who as a potential POTUS represents the country and it citizens. One liner quips and insults can be left to the comedians.

But those who found it funny, like Hannity did, are surely amused at the Ms.Kelly menstruation issues as well. I suppose everyone has different levels of humor, but as I mentioned..leave that to the Stewarts, Key and Peele,et al.

Point being, that stuff loses respect and in the end... Votes.

In the end..it will potentially cause Donald to get pissy enough run independent, and voila...say hello to President Clinton.

Anyone that considers them self hard right is a fool to think Trump has any resemblance of conservatism.

Trump can't even repeat conservative taking points much less outline any conservative policies.
