Rand has been irrelevant all night. Christie's campaign is essentially "I was there on 9/11!!!" Ben Carson prepared for the debate by swallowing half a bottle of ambien. Trump is a circus clown with awesome hair. Carly and her smart mouth is actually pretty impressive on the debate stand, but her track record at HP is embarrassing. Jeb Herbert Walker Bush, been there done that. Huckabee looks like a giant baby.

Caught it here at the end I like how rand says you want boots in Iraq there's 14 other options. I think he screwed up the marijuana point by defaulting to the medical marijuana so much, he should've Stuck to its a state issue regardless medical, recreational, or band.

Trump and Carson bromance is great. Both look good. Donald handled the heat really well.

Carly is a huge warhawk willing to start another cold war. Talks well, but scares the hell out of me.

Rand Paul looks good tonight.

Christie looks good though I don't agree with him at all.

Jeb, Kasich, Huckabee are a joke.

Rubio is OK.

Cruz is below average.

Huckabee was sweatin all night like he was fixin to grab his chest and go down..

kind of a rehash of what you all are saying but my thoughts.


I'm a Paul supporter so expect bias.  I like how he has quality reasons and understanding for his opinions  and shows their are better ways than just going to war.  I like that Trump sees him as enough of a threat to openly attack him early despite it having nothing to do with the question asked.  I thought him and bush helped each other on the marijuana stance until about 2 minutes in when he kept rehashing medical and bush kept defending his stance in Florida.  


Trump is entertaining.  I don't think he adds anything to any issue whatsoever and simply promises he can fix things.  "me and putin would get along"  discounts another candidate for being bilingual.  I don't want a bully who lacks culture and attacks people for having knowledge as president.


Christie  9/11 new jersey blah blah doesn't seem to want to meet in the middle with anything I don't like a lot of his stances either


Ben Carson although sometimes refreshing with his knowledge other times he simply seems overmatched on certain topics


Cruz and Rubio seem like they just bicker each time they get the screen or a question.


Carly wants us to have a stupid sized super army and invade anyone she has some balls under that dress other than her war mongering I like some of the points she brought up

The debate was very entertaining, maybe it was because they just ran over Trapper the whole night lol, it was pretty embarrassing actually.

 

I thought Rand looked good when they actually went his direction which was rare, like I said in the reddit debate thread

Trump was entertaining and clearly got under Bush's skin on multiple occasions.

​Bush came off weak as hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he still get's bullied, I thought he was a lock, but I also assumed his brother and dad would do something to help him find a spine. 

Walker and Cruz are washed at this point imo

Carson got tripped up a few times, and wasted an opportunity when asked about vaccines to go on some tangent about big government, though he still came off decent.

 

After watching this I wouldn't vote any of these clowns tbh, though that was my original stance anyways, they could at least work to sway me.  

 

Can't wait for the democratic freakshow next, shame it wasn't still Trapper moderating it. 

Trump may not win, but he is blazing the path for intelligent billionaires with no political background like Mark Cuban for future runs. The whole identity of politics is changing and it is a beautiful thing.

It was funny at the start of the debate, Trump saying he didn't say anything about Paul's looks even though he has tons of material to work with....

I think it's possible that between actual "discussion" and just mere presence on stage, any and all topics regaridng some kind of science was rebuked. And people wonder why the right is called a bunch of science deniers.

Ya at least they only asked the doctors on stage their opinions on vaccinations... and Trump for some reason

This is the truth. The stage is too big for him. Not to mention he has zero qualifications to be up there in the first place.

I don't mind him up there, I see him as young talent that just doesn't have the experience yet.  They need to get him that experience and groom him for the presidency in about ten years.  He is one of the gentler candidates that could steal votes from the other party.

That's the rationale they used when they pushed him as a contributor on fox. They found a black guy who would rail against Obama. He has no experience and is not qualified but that's ok for Carson and not Obama because reasons?

thats part of it. but he is also a softer republican than what there has been over the last decade.  Not everyone is looking for a seasoned politician and many want more of an everyday man that hasn't been corrupted by Washington yet.  He fits the mold there.


on him being 73.. I guess I should have researched that a bit more he certainly is not young talent hahah he just didn't look 73 to me.
