I would say this is true. If the Jags we're more relevant I would probably spend more time in The Jaguars forum. Until things change though I will probably be in the political section more than The Jaguars section except on gameday.
Why doesnt the govt shut down until all funding to Planned Parenthood is stopped, and an investigation occurs for that organization illegal activity?

Why are the Republicans so soft when it comes to standing up to the Democrats?

Because in reality the Republicans are nothing more than Dems Light, about thismuch→ to their right on most issues.

Why don't you hold your breath until you get your way?

Because a government shutdown would hand the 2016 election to the Democrats on a shining golden platter, and the majority of the Republican Party recognizes that.
No it wouldnt

Past two government shutdowns have handed the republicans the house and senate, so I don't think that would be the case.
And they didnt have video

Nobody wants the government to shut down.  There is a reason for Republicans holding the majority in Congress.

What needs to happen is for Congress to pass a budget that includes de-funding Planned Parenthood, while redirecting the allocated funds to other agencies that provide women's health services or to the states and send it to The President's desk.  If he veto's it, then any government shutdown lays squarely on him.

In the case of a veto, Congress should then vote to override the veto.  It's very likely that 2/3 of both the House and the Senate would vote to override, so on to the next phase.

Congress should then begin passing bills to fund specific government programs starting with veteran and welfare programs and send them to The President.  Again, if he chooses to veto them, then it's his fault.  Any bill that is vetoed could be overridden by a 2/3 majority vote in Congress.  Any members of Congress up for re-election that fail to vote to override a veto runs the risk of losing their seat in the upcoming election.  Imagine some congressman/congresswoman voting to not override a veto for funding the VA, or funding housing assistance.  What about food assistance and college loans/grants?

The methods the left use to silence critics is always so fascinating. Maybe it was blocked for reasons other than his political stances...It is pretty strange though.

Or maybe it was blocked because that group took years of footage, some of it legit, most of it doctored, and Final Cut'd it together into videos that make Planned Parenthood out to be the Great Satan, when the truth is much more boring and mundane.
So what the people said they didnt say?

Is that worth blocking a visa? What they did wasn't criminal.

It's easy, very easy, to selectively edit videos (even "unedited" ones) to make them say what you want to. Given years of infiltrating an organization with an agenda, it's also easy to find a few rogue doctors who fit what you want to convey perfectly. Some of it was actually said, sure, but a lot of it was cherry-picked and harvested (excuse the pun) from selected employees. Are there bad apples in PP? Sure, but there are plenty of soldiers in the military who get a rush from pointing their gun at another human being and pulling the trigger. Lots would even consider that to be "fun". Should we defund the military because a few people are sick human beings who break the rules for some sort of personal benefit?

It's called "slander", and it is.

I see no indictment or conviction.

Australia has more balls than us it seems. I'm just glad someone is standing up against the whackos.
I will preface this post by stating I loathe that abortion is used as a political bargaining chip. Abortion is a woman's choice. You don't have to like it. But it's been legal for 40 years. The majority of what Planned Parenthood does is provide services for women which are not related to abortion. Anyone who saw the "hearing" the GOP led on this should realize it for what it was. Grandstanding. Shutting down PP (especially over what are known to be false premises) is an obvious staged attack by the morality police. This is just something else which is used to whip up the base into a frenzy, when in truth it's much ado about nothing (and a not-so-veiled attack on women's healthcare rights). So a lot of articles get written. A lot of talk shows get booked. A lot of money gets funneled to support a nonsensical non-cause. And nothing happens. That is our government. Bickering. Finger pointing. Holier than thou banter. And consistent inaction. Congratulations on getting sucked into the propaganda.

Interesting times we live in when it isn't the physical harvesting, trafficking, and profiting off body parts that makes you a whacko, but the documenting, recording, and exposing of it that does.

Stick a fork in western civilization, its done.
