Quote:The guy is averaging a sack per game, he's one of the most athletic edge rushers the league has seen in the last 15 years and is absolutely unblockable and has shown no signs of slowing down. I'd say he's definitely on a HOF path.you have guys like Kevin Greene and Charles Haley whos not even in yet. If it was all about sacks Greene would be in. Then you have guys like D Ware and Julius Peppers who will be in front of him if he can keep it up the next 7 or 8 years! Way to early for that talk, can he not get suspened and play pre suspension when he is clean? Needs another 110 sacks to catch Greene btw and be a defensive leader of 5 Super Bowls champs to catch Haley! Nah

All Miller needs to do is average 10 sacks for the next 11 years to catch Greene who still is not in.

Quote:Follow suit? Von Miller won't have the option to "follow suit" when he's franchise tagged, if you truly believe the Broncos will allow Von Miller (who's destined for the HOF) and his 50 career sacks in only 56 games at age 26 to just "walk" in FA then you're truly an idiot. They'll have more than enough cap space to franchise tag/sign him to a long term extension, Von Miller is not making it to free agency just like Justin Houston didn't make it to FA.
If Denver can afford him, the Jaguars can quote him a better offer and compensate Denver for his signature. His price tag, which I mentioned earlier, includes draft pick compensation should he be tagged.
Using your [faulty] logic, the Jaguars would be wise to trade for a player that is "destined for the HOF"

Imagine him in the Otto role. *pees a little*

He's got a very long way to go, so I'm not valuing him as such.
Two, are you seriously considering giving Miller a huge contract and Denver two first-round picks for him? If that's the kind of haul we're talking about, then you'd better hope he is a Hall of Famer.
