I quite possibly could have. I'd like to think after putting on my sleuth hat that I may or may not be on to something.
A lot of posters on here are young people and it's funny to continually insult someone, I guess that's funny. Anyway, some of the posts can be considered annoying, but so are Snowwolfs and he's treated with kid gloves. Just be kind to each other. What seems like harmless fun or needling can really affect someone.

Bingo. That happens all the time here because people don't understand my thoughts and feelings about jokes, sarcasm, etc. The opposite happens too: I try to be nice but for some reason people think I am not. It is a symptom of Asperger's. I was permanently banned from a pet loss support chat room for saying what moderators deemed inappropriate comments and all I was trying to do was help people who recently lost their cats and dogs.
Without having read all of the replies I will say this. As others have pointed out there is an issue with how you perceive the way you are treated and the way you treat others. Those who don't 'get' AS aren't going to understand why you act the way you do or say the things you do or pretty much anything else about you. It doesn't mean they hate you, they just don't get it.
And that's NOT their fault. And it's not fair for you to lay it on them for not getting it. Because at the same time, you don't understand why others act, speak and do the things they do. And it's not your fault and not fair to you that others lay it on you.
What's going to have to happen it everyone needs to learn to agree to disagree, including you. If you don't like the way someone reacts to a post, let it go. Remember that they don't get it and probably never will. And neither will you when it comes to the how, what, when, why and where.
No one here really personally attacks you. They may have a joke at your expense or gets aggravated with you, but everyone does that to everyone. You're not special. There are also people who like to rile you up because they're infantile. Don't let them get to you. And if this is all too much for you then maybe this isn't the board for you. Personally, I don't care. Some of your posts and replies are interesting and very factual. Some are annoying as all get out. But I just let it go. I have my own issues with social interaction so I give you a break because I know how it is.
Don't let it get to you. Understand that the world is very different than you want it to be and suck it up. JMHO
You hit the nail on the head, Americus. I know nobody "attacks" me here. What I don't know is the difference between making me mad on purpose and doing something they know I hate. Letting go is very hard because I cannot understand why people do what they know I hate if their intent is not to make me mad on purpose. That just does not make any sense and in my little brain, everything must be logical. However I do understand people can't "get" AS without having it themselves because I can't "get" disorders I don't have, like schizophrenia and Down syndrome. Who is the poster with a signature about criticizing a man?

JDub. It looks as if you're looking for only the comments you agree with. I'd suggest take them all in, and not just particular ones. If you truly do want your original question answered that is.

This is just something you're going to have to deal with. No one truly knows why anyone does anything. Don't try to figure it out because you're never going to.

There is nothing logical about human nature. It is what it is. I know it's frustrating but there's nothing to be done about it. You will never get the answer you're looking for. As I said before, if you can't handle it then maybe this isn't the board for you. You're dealing with a very diverse group of folks here and that can be bad enough. Throw in someone like you and it just makes things more.....interesting.

See, you don't 'get' non-AS people either. So really you either let things go and logic be darned or you keep getting a bur under your saddle about things that don't matter. No one here hates you. I've seen hate on this board and nothing we see now comes anywhere close. There are just people here doing what people do. That's all. There is no answer. I wish there was so you could have some peace but that's not how the world works.
