Well, not everyone is willing to have their brain smashed in to do the right thing. I would say that judging by society today that it would be a rare expectation.

You're right. That's one reason we have so many civil rights issues in this country. There aren't enough people who are ready to have their brains smashed in to do the right thing. Are you willing to take on dogs, hoses, gunfire, beatings, name-calling?

If the cause is right. On a whole though, unless it deals with me, my wife, or my family then I am not terribly concerned. Putting myself on the mend for strangers when my wife or family needs me more is a no go. Selfish, sure, but I am unphased.

What is the biggest plight facing the black population right now?  Failing education?  Number of incarcerations?  Poverty in inner cities?  I can answer those three questions with reasons why, but you and others don't want to hear it or face up to it.

If you lead a criminal lifestyle get caught then snitch? Yeah, prepare for some retribution. That's solid across all "races". If James snitch to my boss I was late from lunch 15 mins, I'm not going to beat his [BLEEP]. I mean how literal were you going to take that phrase?


I digress...it's weird hearing a bunch of theories explaining why this woman had to let a child killer go free. So help me understand, are you guys saying if it were life or death consequences, you would choose your life AND let a child killer go free?

Are you trying to say that you would be jumping in line to get your head in the noose instead? I think everyone chiming in so far, sans Solid, has said they don't know what they would do. Very few people have been in that spot.

Also, I don't think Bch will lose any shut eye over some one on the internet showing their pals an online post. His/her ego will survive.
